Grace is the best bartender! As a regular I love coming in and her knowing my drink and chit chatting about girly things we’re looking forward to. She makes sure everyone at the bar is taken care of and remembers EVERYONES drinks! It’s crazy! Love Ali on service and Lexi when she’s behind the bar too! Great place!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bevy’s Tavern, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their Mac and Cheese – easily the best in town! I ordered it without the heat to make it less spicy for my daughter, and it was a hit. Creamy, cheesy, and simply delicious.
But here’s the kicker – I couldn’t resist trying it with a bit of Buffalo sauce. The added kick of flavor took it to a whole new level. If you’re a fan of a little spicy goodness, I highly recommend giving it a try. It was a flavor explosion that I won’t soon forget.
Beyond the Mac and Cheese, the overall ambiance and service at Bevy’s Tavern were top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Went up to the blue zoo aquarium with grandkids and was looking for a place to eat found Bevys Tavern closeby , so decided to try it out.
Was pleasantly surprised with the choices for dining options and the service was friendly and efficient. Menu choices were many and food quality was very good. If I was to complain about anything it would be a very small thing in that was the birria quesadilla mentioned on the menu said that it came with a consomme for dipping. The consomme ended up only being taco sauce, so was slightly let down from that but the quesadilla was very good without it and was still a great choice.
During our visit Iowa State game on the many television screens that are available to watch and found that to be quite enjoyable as well.

Stopped into Bevys last week and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the great food! The bartender, Grace, was very knowledgeable about the menu and served us with a smile.

Waiting a good 20 minutes before staff acknowledged my wife and I. When we finally were they were rude and acted like we were a burden for them to deal with us. Tried to give them the benifit of the doubt and just order food. Came out super late and burgers had no flavor. I got old slimy lettuce and the server never same to check on us or refill our drinks. Wanted to have a couple drinks before the food but we only able to order 1 round bc they never came back to the table. Had to go look for server for refills and then they acted like it was a huge inconvenience for them. Fries were OK but had no seasoning so just doused them with salt and ketchup I had to track down myself. Overall a negative experience won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

In response to a review that I just read about a place that my husband and I frequent and even more the bartender/server that was referenced, Grace is one of the most attentive in the industry. She comes to take our order in a very timely fashion every time and our glass is never empty unless we want it to be. As a matter of fact we come to Bevy’s specifically on the days that she is working. Haters gonna hate but please before you form an opinion, come in and meet her for yourself.

I am a female by myself at the bar. I stopped in after work. The initial bartender was cordial, offered me a drink and menu. Suddenly that bartender left and a bartender named Grace with a red shirt on replaced her. Grace NEVER acknowledged my presence, never asked if I needed anything and TOTALLY ignored me the ENTIRE TIME. Grace stayed at the opposite side of the bar the entire time chatting with friends and being on her phone. Normally I am a very good tipper, and I thought I might come back as a regular but no way. Then she started looking at her phone again and ignored me after I left my card to pay. Obviously Grace is more interested in men than females that want a beer after a long day at work. So sad. She’s telling patrons about her hair appointment. Came to get my card and still ZERO CONVERSATION.ZERO. Maybe you should raise your standards when hiring help.

I enjoyed after-work drinks at Bevy’s and had a lovely experience! Joshua Sinclair was performing (he is great!), and there was a nice crowd (full house). Brittany N. was our server, and she did an outstanding job!! I would very much recommend this fun tavern!
