Standard taco shop. First one I’ve been to here in Colorado Springs. Got the carne asada plate to-go. I enjoyed it. Good portions. Wasn’t expecting the large flour tortilla. Do feel like the items on the menu are a little pricey in my opinion. 13$ for a bowl of menudo. Nonetheless, Will be back to try other items on the menu.

I stopped in for a burrito. Staff were nice and food was made fresh to order. I ordered a chile relleno burrito to go. I was disappointed in the flavor. The enchilada sauce was salty and while the burrito was a nice size, I had to eat more than half of it before biting into the chile. The chile was extremely small and I tasted no cheese. They basically gave me a beans and rice burrito with enchilada sauce. Overall, I was highly disappointed.

Its pricey but seemed most authentic so we returned. This is our 4th visit and the service just gets worse, along with the food!!! idk if there is a new chef but the quanity and quality of the meat has changed. The birria tacos and tacos birrias is all we would get. There is 3 adults in my house hold and two birria tacos comes with a side of consommé… at least that what they have been doing the last 7 months in our previous visits which we appreciate cause the heck wants to share a medicine size cup of consommé to double dip their tacos in!? Now this cashier gave us two small consommé for 8 queso birria, when we asked for one more they said it would be $4 more (for a 2 oz small cup even though they should be included with the tacos?! that’s wild). The food was worth the price until the serving sizes and service changed!! Goes to show, you must be careful and selective with who you hire, we had met the owner previously and the quality nor the quantity was ever bad like we experienced today. We also chose to eat at home because the booths were not clean nor the sauce stations. The workers could definitely be wiling tables and keeping up with the restrooms while orders are down, instead of just standing around talking ti the cooks (in my opinion).

I liked it for what you pay. You get quite a bit of food. I wouldn’t. I could eat so get it in the carry out. If that’s what I had to do, it was good and I recommend you stop there. You gotta get something neat there. I’ll be back for breakfast. But not right away, maybe in a week or so, and if I enjoy it I’m gonna give him a five star

We come here fairly often and haven’t had a single issue with an employee, other customer, or our orders. This place has kind staff and amazing food. It is on the more expensive side for breakfast options, but in the end you get what you paid for. Would you rather buy a $8 small breakfast sandwich from a fast food chain or spend a little more and get a burrito big enough for a second meal? Not to mention the food is actually seasoned here. 10/10.

Ordered 4 carnasada fries..fries where raw. Like they didn’t even fry them, just put into container then covered them with hot meat. Carnasada meat had no flavor some was under cooked. Usually we order delivery, last 2 times missing items. This time we had everything but food was not good. Last time ordering from here. Very dissatisfied.

The tacos were absolutely amazing and the rice and beans were very seasoned in a good way. Not overpowering but just the right amount. The taco shell was golden and crispy and the meat lettuce and cheese was fresh. They also have a nice salsa bar.

Unfortunately I was approached by the local news crew to speak on disturbing news: Cook was hiding cell phone in the women’s restroom, charged in December 2025 with a misdemeanor and fired. Hopefully the management team has more responsible safety protocols now for the team to follow to ensure quality service in a safe environment for families.

Great tacos and food. Like most hole in the walls its based food reputation. Forget if its in a hot area of town. These tacos are worth driving to. Food was great condiment bar great but the winner was the tortillas. Corn and flour delicious. You can taste how good the comel has been seasoned.
