Returning from Bar Harbor we stumbled across this great establishment right off the highway.

The food ~ what can we say, SOOOO GOOD!
Fresh ingredients and flavorful.

Siam Thai Kitchen serves very authentic and delicious food. The chive dumplings and crispy fried pork belly are a must-try, and our family really enjoyed the dishes overall. However, the lack of staffing made our experience less enjoyable—we waited about 75 minutes from ordering until the food arrived. The restaurant really needs to improve on staffing to match the quality of their food.

We stopped by Siam Thai Kitchen during a late-night road trip and were pleased with our experience. The ambience was simple but comfortable, which suited us just fine given the late hour. Service was prompt, likely due to the fact that we arrived when it was relatively quiet.
We started with a couple of beers and ordered Pad Thai with crispy tofu and Thai curry for dinner. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying—though perhaps our hunger added a bit to the enjoyment! Still feeling a bit peckish, we decided to order the chicken wings, which were decent, though not particularly memorable.
Overall, Siam Thai Kitchen offered a good dining experience for the state we were in—traveling from New York and looking for a convenient place to eat. It’s a solid choice if you’re in the area and craving Thai food.

We were driving down to Boston and we’re hungry. Decided to get something to eat quickly. Our turn off only had one restaurant which was this one and we decided we like Thai food so what the heck. The food was delicious not too hot. Although if you want it hotter, you could get it. I had the red curry and is quite delicious while my wife had the pineapple rice which she enjoyed as well. Would definitely go back if we were in the area.

I went for lunch here on a Monday afternoon. It was my first visit here. While I was waiting, I ordered a taro boba tea. Upon first sipping the tea, it tasted good, but it had the weirdest aftertaste! I apologized and asked for a different flavor, coconut. Again, it tasted good at first, but had a weird medicinal/cleaning fluid flavored aftertaste, but I didn’t ask for another one. I had the drunken noodle lunch with salad. Portion sizes were pretty good for lunch, at $12. The salad looked decent and tasted just okay. It had a fried dumpling on top, that was cold and hard. It tasted like bottled yum yum sauce on top, and it was mostly iceberg lettuce. The drunken noodle was decent and tasted pretty good, although it was much spicier than I asked for, which was level one. In my bag, there were no napkins and no silverware and no other sauces. I may visit this restaurant again, as I love Thai food, and would try something else next time.

October 20, 2023 – Living in the area, my wife & I try all the restaurants in a 30 mile radius. . . Siam Thai Kitchen opened 3 months ago ( in the former Urban Element Restaurant location).
The rumors were mostly positive about Siam Thai Kitchen ! We met friends for dinner, and the place was packed! They have patio seating, best wait for summer time, it was in the 50’s last night, and my wife said, “ INSIDE “! Several folks met us at the door, with their “ carry out” boxes! That’s a good sign! Also folks were standing, and waiting for a table . . . another good sign!
The menu offers 6 pages of Thai, Laotian, and Vietnamese fusion food. The Curry sauces are gluten free, and include yellow, green, and red varieties! We ordered up crispy fried rolls as an appetizer! Also tried several Maine Beers. . . I liked the Orono Brewing Company’s Mason Marsh Octoberfest beer! The ladies preferred the Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon red wines!
The service was prompt ( actually the chef’s brother) at our table! I forgot his name, but a very friendly & helpful server when describing the Thai dishes to us! My wife ordered the spicy fish with vegetables, I ordered the crispy duck w/vegetables at a heat rating ️ ️. I like some heat and usually order “3 heat level” , but the rumors said go lower! ( perfect heat for me).
Overall, all four us us enjoyed the evening experience! Pace of the wait was fine! The food quantity & presentation was EXCELLENT! The service was also very good! Thank you to the chef , owner, and staff . . . We will return !
PS Thailand was called SIAM , years ago.
* There’s a Siam Restaurant & Bar in Lewiston , don’t think it’s connected?
** There’s a Siam Thai Kitchen in Edmonton, Canada, not sure there’s a connection?

We waited 45 minutes for our food. We overheard a woman wanting her money back, owner refused, She had ordered an hour before and was waiting 45 minutes for her food.
Food is really good, but, expect to wait or order in advance for pick up.

O my stars. This was our first visit. Very delicious food, Vegetarian accommodating. And we ordered 1 dessert to go since we were so full. 1 member of our group ordered the coconut rice pudding, we opened the bag when we got back home, and oh my! So delish. We were all very delighted. Our tastebuds actually had a party in our mouths!

Loved, loved, loved the food! Very fresh, hot, tasty! Pad Thai had lots of juicy tender meat. Steamed buns super soft and pillowy- sweet and savory. Lettuce wraps messy but very good. Best Thai food I have had in the area. I recommend highly! Great waiter! Nice and attentive. Ambiance was nice… space modern and plenty of room. They had a nice outside space that looked cozy and relaxing.. just too warm out! Highly recommend!

Pictured here is the appetizer combo plate for two. It came with so much food. Luckily, my friend and I shared this and decided to split an entrée of the mango friend rice, which isn’t pictured here but was sooooooo good. The service was great, and the food came out really quickly. I will definitely be back.
