Not one to leave bad reviews but wow. We were super excited to have this open near us and love supporting local. We completely understand it’s new and went tonight for dinner. Hoping this was just an odd visit considering the other great reviews. Giving it 2 stars simply because the brisket was fantastic! My fiancé almost bit into a piece of plastic that was on the bottom of his bun (pictured). Mac n cheese and coleslaw were incredibly dry and had no sauce or flavor (pictured). Quite a bit disappointing considering the price. The cheese balls were super hard and you could tell they were not homemade. Staff didn’t seem happy to be to be there.

This place has so much potential and we hope to try it again in the future but not sure that we will be back.

Awesome food and great staff. The bbq items and sides are great. The fish sandwich they have added is excellent. Looking for a lent meal, highly recommend it! But anytime and everything they have is really great food. Given them a try! You won’t be sorry! On highway 150 in Galena next to the library.

This is a destination! Q is fantastic. I had brisket tacos. Delicious! Sweet, smoky, meaty goodness. I’m picky about slaw. There’s is some of the best I’ve ever had. Rivaling my grandmother.

I stopped by this evening during their “soft opening” at the store in Galena. I took home a pound of brisket and some green beans. I wish Google had six stars for the quality of the beef brisket! I normally like fattier cuts of meat, but that’s usually just for better tenderness and moisture. This brisket was very lean, but it definitely did not lack in those two important categories! keep it up and I will definitely be a regular customer!

definitely recommend!

My favorite BBQ, smoked salmon, brisket, and turkey! The staff is so friendly, and the owner, Adam, is just as pleasant. You wouldn’t know he owned the place unless you did. Great place!

This place just opened, and still decorating, it’s going to be an awesome little local BBQ joint!

The pulled pork sandwich was extremely good. They only have one type of BBQ sauce, but it was unique and very good.

Id come back if I were to be in the area. Little down home bbq places like this one are always the best

Don’t like to leave bad reviews, but the food is subpar, not cooked with love, more like haste. Extremely disappointed in the level of you not caring what you serve to your guests. That’s the poor service piece. If this was a one-off, where is the managerial oversight?

Got a BBQ sandwich with fries. The fries were cooked dark brown, due to old frying oil from laziness, or not knowing how to cook fries. There was big hunk of dry, burned meat on the sandwich. It was a culinary nightmare. That’s the poor food piece. Would you serve this to your mother? I highly doubt it.

Once you show patrons that you are inept, or just don’t care, they’re going to believe you. I certainly do, and that’s the poor atmosphere piece.

Word of mouth is a crucial component of maintaining a restaurant.

Overall, the experience was very nice! It wasn’t super packed, the food came out quick and was fresh and hot, and importantly the food tasted wonderful. The building was very clean, and the employees were very nice. I would absolutely recommend eating here!

Food was good except the green beans were extremely cold and tasted really plain like they poured them directly out of a can into a kettle because they had ran out. Everything was extremely unorganized. Not very family oriented. And there was absolutely no service whatsoever. I was under the impression that it was a family operated restaurant. It operates more like a fast food, pick up your food and leave because there was very little seating . Except the prices are high like a dining restaurant. I think the restaurant has a lot of potential but definitely work needs to be done, if it’s gonna create profit

The brisket and pulled pork are juicy and absolutely delicious! Sausage and turkey are great too! Can’t wait to try their ribs. Will be making this a weekly stop. Highly recommend.
