Food here is great. You know you are in for a good meal when you see people making the tortillas. Tacos are excellent. I really enjoyed the barilla. Have tried the burrito, tamales and quesadilla. All are good. The atmosphere is more like a diner so nothing fancy. They clearly put their effort on the food and it shows.

The food was wonderful and everyone enjoyed it. We did have to buss our own table to find a place to sit down. I don’t speak Spanish so for all I know the employees were very friendly. They certainly seem to have good attitudes and smiling faces. Everyone else we saw when we were eating there were actually Hispanic. So I assume this says things for the authenticity of the food.

Highly recommend— I live and work near here and have drove by this place a million times and always wanted to give it a try. Tonight I did and got it to go. Absolutely delicious!! It is truly authentic, made in front of you. Staff are great. Prices are great. They do not skimp on the meat portions at all! Both my tacos and tamales had plenty and were delicious. I definitely will be a regular customer now!

This Mexican restaurant is really good authentic Mexican street food very wide variety of dishes from tacos burritos to tamales is freshly made right in from of you prices are very adorable. The staff is very sweet and helpful and will work with you is you want anything extra. Only thing is they don’t have alcohol it would have been nice to have a cold crisp corona with the food other than that love the food and place.

This their 3rd location and just as good as the original. The food really flavorful, meats cooked well. Kids really enjoyed the rice. Prices very reasonable. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Asheville, but would be good in any part of the country.

We’ve eaten at so many taco places and this is by far the best around! Large portions of meat compared to others, different veggie options like corn smut and squash blossoms, and the cabeza could not have been better!

Its expensive more than the one on Patton. Its closer to biltmore and in arden area thats probably why. For those prices they should have more space for people to sit, the tables are small so its better for a family or groups of 4-5. I ordered the chilaquiles in my opinion thats a super simple dish even more than tacos… the eggs were cold when i mixed them witht the salsa they got warm but it was still the moat expensive item we paid for.the staff was nice.
