My House Hibachi was piping hot and wonderfully cooked, a bit soupy but so faverfull. Is shrimp Hibachi was just as nice.It would have been nicer if the tail’s been taken off the shrimp. Is spaghetti?What’s the light the cheese sticks for piping?Hot and soft and not at all spicy. There’s not much sitting room but it was quiet and pleasant, very clean.

Happy to have stumbled upon this place! We ordered the House Special Pizza and absolutely delicious! The Chicken Wings, Red Curry with Beef, and Philly Steak Rolls all hit the spot and satisfied our cravings. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely looking forward to visiting again soon!

I just moved to the area, am a former restaurateur, and retired chef. I purposely seek out local spots in off the beaten path for the best shot at a good meal. This was a win! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I got the Hibachi steak and shrimp. It was surprisingly super authentic! I have traveled quite a bit and have had the pleasure of sampling the finest of Asian cuisine around the globe! It is my favorite of all cuisines. These folks are serving you actual authentic dishes! I was so pleased with my experience! I read a few of the other reviews about the Hibachi dishes, and the reason they may not have enjoyed their meal is perhaps they are so accustomed to the usual “American Hibachi” most spots serve! This is AUTHENTIC Hibachi! They are actually back there cooking and not tossing store bought pre-cut veggies together and tossing it out as Hibachi. The veggies were actually julienned, which was so delightful! The last time I had the same privilege was at a spot underground in New York! Love it! Took a pizza home for dinner, and it too was amazing! Super chewy authentic Italian crust with crusty bottom, great cheese and light sauce! So happy they are here! Wish them all the best! They are doing an amazing job! It’s great food! Seems to be family owned as well. Great spot! I rarely go out, as I am an amazing cook as well, so thank you for cooking such a wonderfully crafted meal and overall delightful dining experience!

I’m specifically writing this review to help someone in the future! I ordered the Hibachi beef/steak and it was NOTHING like ANY Hibachi I’ve EVER had nor what I wanted or expected! The steak is like steak em and the exact same steak they use for their cheese steak sandwiches which was also not eat I thought I was purchasing. I called but it did no good. So just don’t go there expecting to get the normal hibachi or you will be very disappointed!!

I placed a call in order and asked for hibachi chicken and shrimp with no bell peppers he said so house hibachi I replied sure but no beef and no bell pepper. Picked my order up and got to my destination to find I have a plate with ONLY beef and bell peppers. So I returned explained the problem and sit to wait. New plate was brought and it was chicken and beef so I sent it back for the second time. Then it was brought back to me with only chicken so once again I returned the plate and said now there are no shrimp, so in return I got one shrimp thrown on top of my plate that already didn’t look appetizing and let’s not forget during all of these transactions the same fried rice stayed in my plate getting cold and bouncing from hand to hand. And yes I did take into consideration they just opened the first two times but considering they were no where near busy I don’t understand. Maybe my order was much more complicated than I thought but will not return or recommend

Went there the first week it opened with my father. Went to get the Chinese food and Japanese food. It was horrible. Some of the WORST fried rice we ever had in our life. No flavor. No veggies. So dry. All the egg rolls were bad as well. The sesame chicken was bad. It was so watery. The sauce didn’t stick to the chicken. The chicken was grilled instead of fried. My dad got the shrimp and he didn’t like it.
Everybody was ordering burgers and when I say everybody I mean EVERYBODY!!!!! So much so that the fries my father wanted to order would take 40 minutes. So that ticked my dad off BIG TIME!!!! On the way back to the house he said that we would NEVER go back there again. I wanted to try the burger and fries one day but my father said no.
Fast Forward to a few months later. I go out with one of my dad’s old classmates to dine in. She called y’all a “Chinese restaurant” which y’all are not. I was so worried but than I realized I’m getting a burger and fries. The burger and fries was so freaking good. The bun was soft. It had a lot of onions. It really reminded me of burgers I used to get from the Chinese spot in the DMV area back home. The Bacon… THE BACON!!!!!!!!!!! It was cooked perfect. It was crispy. It was thick but not too thick.
The fries need work they aren’t crinkle cut. They are thin and dry. But you can smother them in hot sauce and that’ll help a bit. Oh and the service was great. The soda was really good. Had a great amount of bubbles.
My Dad’s old classmate ordered him the same burger I had and he loved it. We both said it needed an extra patty. I didn’t know y’all had double cheeseburgers.
So my father and I will be back there. But I have to try that bacon on a chicken sandwich. I wish had a chicken sandwich because that sub bread looks horrible.
When y’all have a chicken sandwich on the bun post it on Facebook and we’ll be there as soon as possible.
Good luck to y’all but I feel like that fried rice gotta go. It’s real bad.

This is our second time eating from Mama Mons. We had beef Lo mein and fried rice and shrimp egg rolls our first time. Today we decided to try their pizza since they make their dough fresh. We were NOT DISAPPOINTED! The pizza is huge and very flavorful. We had the large meats pizza and added mushrooms. Definitely will be going back.

Highly disappointed! Portions seemed to be really small, the fried rice is nothing I would ever consider fried rice, cabbage basically still raw, overload of bell peppers, didn’t even attempt to try the yum yum sauce but if you like your hibachi covered in it plan to ask for plenty extra, cheese sticks are bottom of the line. On my daughter’s house hibachi plate she received 1 shrimp, she took one bite of the cheese steak eggroll, which does not come with ranch but a pack of duck sauce, and immediately spit it out, vegetable egg rolls were ok. When they ask you if you’re dining in or taking out save your time and say taking out, either way it’s coming out boxed and bagged.
