Amazing food. From the main dish to the sides, everything was hot, fresh and well seasoned. The wife and I loved the customer service provided, affordable can beverages for only $1 and how quickly it was wrapped and delivered to us. I’ve posted our whole wing dinner and the smothered ribs dinner. We’ll definitely be back sooner than later.

Since I saw more positive reviews than negative…I decided to Door Dash some food. I ordered the pork chops (I didn’t ask for gravy nor did the description say anything about gravy). It’s misleading for them to call it a dinner when you have to pay for your sides separately. I ordered greens, mac n cheese and yams. The greens are bomb, the yams are bomb. The mac-n-cheese is dry. But overall, I am satisfied. Only gave three stars due to whoever did the order gave me smothered pork chops and the mac n cheese was just okay.

Had time before my flight so I stopped in and I’m very glad I did. When I tell you they knock it out of the park! I mean this spot needs to be studied. The fried “turkey chops” were PERFECTLY seasoned and cooked. For sides, I got the macaroni cheese and yams. Both were exactly like my auntie makes them back home in South Carolina. Ok. I want to start off with saying the service is amazing and the atmosphere reminded me of Sunday dinner at my grandma house because when I went there it’s like the entire family was in the back.
I spent about $38.00
I ordered the smothered chicken with cabbage and dressing. And a side of smothered porkchop and a side of mac.
Being from the south I k ow Soulfood. And this food was not good to me. The cabbage had no green. It was all white, the dressing was like cornbread (in which it was the same as the cornbread muffins).
The Mac was pretty but it tasted burnt. And my pork chops weren’t smothered. When I got home I called multiple times to tell them that my pork chops weren’t right but got no answer.
I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the service. But the food was a big no for me.

What a hidden little gem this is. Food was amazing! Ordered lamb chops with greens yams. Enjoyed every bite. My husband had the ribs which he loved. Service was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

I had been trying to catch this place open for months. Very friendly establishment. I really wanted to love this place. I know everyone gave 4 and 5 stars but I pride myself on giving a realistic honest reviews.

First time visit: smothered turkey chops – tender, seasoned perfectly; macaroni and cheese (perfect) and the greens (no pork – turkey meat) were awesome – not mushy – seasoned without being too much. Definitely will go back again

As I type this from my truck after I smashed everything I just want to Shout out the beautiful Miss Chi’Ron she was absolutely amazing her hospitality was very welcoming and her dad was cool as well Chile he fried my fish perfectly omg y’all I pigged out and that was the best $29 bucks I’ve spent since I’ve been here! Im from Benton Harbor I’m 3hrs away from home so it felt good to be treated like family, I will definitely return and recommend! I had the fried catfish with cabbage, Mac, yams and green beans and potatoes and when I say they were all smacking Lord I’m too fat for this but I’ll be back❤️
