Let me tell you something about Pita Gourmet — this place is a blessing. The food is so fresh you can taste the love clear through the pita. Every bite had me wanting to say “thank you, Lord,” because these are the best gyros in all of Buffalo, and I don’t say that lightly.
The service? Ohhh honey — kind, patient, and welcoming, like you just walked into somebody’s kitchen after church on Sunday. Smiles all around, moving with purpose, making sure everybody is fed and happy. That speaks volumes.
Everything comes out hot, flavorful, and made right. No shortcuts, no stinginess — just good, honest food done the way it ought to be done. If you want a meal that fills your belly and your spirit, this is the place. I’ll be back again and again, Lord willing.

Always fresh. The garlic sauce is to die for! And I love the pickled turnips as a topping choice! SO much better than Rachel’s. Bring one to Depew/Lancaster/Elma please!

Delicious, fresh and juicy gyro sandwich! The portion size was very large. You can choose from a wide array of toppings. The restaurant was clean and staff was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. Service was quick and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch!

No idea why I passed this so many times. Finally stopped in for lunch before a long road trip and man they made me a believer. Excellent food but far more important was the staff. Friendly, professional and probably the best part of the experience.

I was not in the mood for Greek, but my family was. Although I wasn’t gonna get anything to eat, I decided on the fish wrap just to experiment. The young lady at the counter said they use Haddock and I love haddock. I was concerned about the rap because sometimes at these Greek places they’re hard and crispy because they’re stale. This was not the case it was fresh and soft. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The employees were extremely cordial and informative on how long it may take to cook. The rice pudding was creamy and done correctly. Now I will definitely go back.

First thing for me was the smell of the chicken when I walked in. It smelled so good. Then I noticed how clean everything was. The employees were well groomed and put together. Yes I look at these things. We were greeted with a smile and a hello as soon as we walked in.
It was our first visit to PG. I got a whole Falafel salad with a side of chicken. Baba ghanouj with wheat pocket. My son got the mini grilled chicken with rice. I enjoyed mine very much. The falafel was flavorful and not super dry. The baba ghanouj was seasoned to perfection for me. The chicken extremely tender. Overall I’m very pleased with my first visit to PG.

This place opened up not far from BJ’s down on Sheridan, so I decided to check it out. Not bad, though I think in the end it’s not my fave Greek place. It has a respectably sized menu, with not just gyros and souvlaki and fries but rice, falafel, burgers, etc. The prices are also very reasonable. The quality of the food, though, is just “pretty good.” I had the gyro and it was a little dry, though the sauce was good. Tom’s Restaurant ultimately wins out for me for the most savory and succulent gyros.
