Place has gone so downhill so fast. Ordered on Sunday and the dude working was rude and just didn’t want to be there. Everyone could tell, needs to work on his customer service.
And the portioning of the food has been sliced in half since back in the day but they are charging even more for their half portions, which is criminal. The taco burrito looked like it was for a child. And the Chilitos had hardly anything in them.
Sadly this place needs a new owner if it’s gonna survive. This is what happens when owners try to cheap out on labor and product!
Go to an actual authentic Mexican restaurant and avoid this expensive knockoff that needs to be taken over by someone else.

The food was good, made fresh. Had 8 cheese chilitos and 4 tacos split between 4 people and we left full.
Customer service was nice, thanked us before we left.

The place is outdated, but it’s not terrible. The service is nice… but they’re always EXTREMEMLY slow. The food is good, same recipes from the original owners, and that’s amazing. What sucks most is the price going up and the chilitos not even being filled. Lots of burned on cheese and random chips on the outside of my buritos. Clean your grill! How disappointing.

I would give this 3 stars, but there were a couple HUGE red flags that droppes it to 2 stars.
First…all in all, the food was decent, just not a very large serving for the price. Second… the 1 and ONLY bathroom is around back and basically in the kitchen area. It definently needs some attention and cleaning, and had i used the bathroom before I ate, i probably would have left with out eating.
Lastly… EVERY garbage can was full… there were 3 people working, we were the only sit down customers there, trays were stacked on the garbage cans, ash trays havent been emptied in who knows how long, (i dont smoke, so didnt bother me, just something i noticed) yet the garbage couldnt be changed?
So basically the food was ok, i havent gotten sick yet so thats good. Probably wont ever go back though…

Love this place! I always have to stop in when I’m back home visiting. The chilitos were fantastic as always. I ordered a combo meal and I think the portions were even larger than back in the day. Not to mention the cool retro aesthetics, I hope it never changes!

literally just walked out of here,, was SO Excited to try this place it’s been recommended to me by SO many people BUT these 3 workers and not a single glove to be seen.. im a CFPM..certified kitchen manager l,,like idk i couldn’t bring myself to buy Anything.. not after kniwing what i know and at least not until I go there and there’s manager becuz I’m assuming that’s the only time they think they should follow the health code….it’s really just not acceptable.. anyways yep
