First time here and we loved the food! So flavorful and fun to eat. We got both the veggie and water buffalo momos in chili sauce and it was hot but good! Portions were generous!!! The mango lassi and naan with hummus also hit the spot. We can’t wait to come back and try other things.

Loved the Sekuwa chicken skewers, Sadeko Aalo potatoes were a hit and full of flavor, Chicken Momo, Garlic Nan with hummus, Mango Lassi and rare Cheesecake with pistachio for dessert. Can’t wait to go back and try their other menu items.

The food was great! The soup of the thukpa was super good, just wish the portion was a little bigger. The momo was super good! Really liked the curry sauce it came in. The cheesecake was a very interesting blend of spices, it was in a condensed milk and coconut sauce. Overall, everything was great! Definitely plan on coming back.

Great Nepalese food, reminds me of food from back home (North India). We had chili momos and water buffalo momos, both were great! Staff was very polite and friendly as well.

This is our third time there and it never disappoints. So many wonderful dishes and hard to pick a favorite. We especially enjoy their wings with the special chili, and save that sauce for the dumplings after. So great! What a gem

Had a great dinner with my colleagues at While in Kathmandu in Glen Cove tonight. This place is a gem – it’s the only Nepalese restaurant on Long Island.
We ordered way too much food, but everything was so delicious we couldn’t stop eating. The Chicken Jhol Momo, Garlic Naan with Hummus, and Shrimp Momo were all amazing. The Cheese Naan, baked in a clay oven and served with homemade mint sauce, was incredible.
The Masala Fries were spicy, but not overwhelmingly so – just a nice kick. And the Masala Chai? Creamy and comforting on a cold day, just what I needed.
But the real standout was the Thukpa, a traditional Nepali noodle soup. It was like a Nepalese version of ramen, and I’m convinced it could cure a cold. Even if it can’t, it’s definitely a bowl of comfort that’s worth coming back for. I’m a huge soup fan and this was great.
I’ve had their food before, but this was my first time coming in for a sit-down dinner. The service was top-notch, and the owners were super friendly. I’m so glad we tried this place – it’s definitely worth a visit!

Probably only restaurant in area offering whole Nepali menu; some what Chef Kharel has made Nepali-American fusion like roti taco; we can clearly understand his vision and market demand; choosing mayo toppings or American styles sauce in certain dishes to balance spicy flavors of Nepali food; still it hasn’t lose it’s authentic taste.
Loved the balance of the spice in food that takes you back to Kathmandu; unlike heavy oiled dishes or English influenced creamy dishes in Indian restaurants; you find light and blance food here.

My friend and I had an absolutely amazing first experience here. The food we tried (jhol vegetable momo, vegetable thupka, jackfruit choila roti) was delicious and perfectly portioned. The broths and sauces were super flavorful. The staff who were there during our visit (the chef and our server whose name we unfortunately didn’t get!) were beyond friendly and helpful, happily answering our questions about the different dishes as it was our first time trying Nepalese food and we are both vegan. The chef also said the menu will be expanding soon so very exciting! It was clear that they were a nice family who had a passion for what they do. It might be one of my new favorite places and I can’t wait to go back!

We got the chicken and goat skewers, shrimp moo (chilli) and the Aloo … ugh… delicious. I was sad to get full cuz it meant I have to stop eating soon. I walked out thinking to myself “wow, there is nothing to complain or even critique” absolutely do it. Go in and ask for recommendations.
