This stall has plenty of tools surrounding it for patrons to sit at.
Menus have clear descriptions of the dishes, plus photographs of them all which makes choosing your food very easy.
The food is quickly cooked right in front of you & can be adapted to your preferred level of spices / heat.
We had Chicken Pad Thai; Thai Green Chicken Curry with sides of Thai Fish Cakes & Thai Vegetarian Rolls, both with sweet chilli dipping sauce.
Food was very good quality & flavoursome.
Portions were large.
Staff were friendly & informative.
They were also recently given the top hygiene rating of 5
I believe that they also now have a restaurant on The Barbican.

A Taste of Thailand is a food stall within Plymouth Market, where customers sit on highstools up to a bar like table. Menu is extensive offering mild to spicy hot rice dishes, noodle stir fries, curry dishes, Pad Thai all with a choice of chicken, beef or prawn.
Had prawn crackers & sweet chilli dip to start, followed by spicy prawn noodles which was cooked fresh & presented within a very short time. Most of the dishes are £11 & worth every penny. This is an absolute gem of a place. The ladies are pleasant & lovely, the whole area is very clean, with both excellent service & food.

Taste of Thailand : Thai restaurant in Plymouth Market ️
If you’re craving for authentic Thai flavours, this hidden gem is a must-try.
We’ve been visiting this place for many years, love its authentic Thai flavours and friendly service.
Meals are freshly cooked, excellent value for money however the prices have now gone up from £7.50 to £11 per plate.
It’s a busy place in the market, seating can be limited, but the food is worth the wait.
My family’s favourite is the Stir Fry Yellow Curry With Prawns .
Find them at Stall 101, Plymouth Market!

Had a quick lunch in Plymouth market. Order the Chestnut stir fry with beef, it comes with rice and a seafood noodles. The food is a bit salty and sweet for my oriental tongue, the portion is good! Ordered a Thai milk tea, a bit sweet for me but it’s okay after the food.

I came to the market takeaway the larb moo (mince pork toasted rice salad) to have it on the train to London. Beside is it a bit wet salad than what we get in Thailand, flavour is as good as in Thailand. Medium spicy is just fine for my liking.
Took a bit long time to prepare. Saw the lady double dipping when tasting from the mixing bowl. Personally that’s what they do in Thailand anyway. Not sure about should do it in England.

First time here and would definitely be back. Food was delicious, really hot and tasty! Not badly priced for the portion size and we enjoyed that you can see the staff making the food, everyone is served quickly and it was clean. Great to see a place like that busy!

What they show you in the menu and what you get are very different, false advertising .the curry was supposed to be green but actually white ! When I complained she said they always make the spring rolls without carrot and coriander because they don’t have those ingredients. But there was carrot in the curry!!! Anyway she said there is no manager and she don’t care about this posting !! I won’t go there again left with a nasty taste
