Had a delicious dinner at Kitami and sat in for it. The food was super affordable and tasted amazing. I got the vegetarian ramen and the broth was a bit plain, so I would get something different next time. My partner got the Kitami Ramen and we had the okonomiyaki to start – incredible.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and made to feel comfortable! The store doubles as a restaurant and grocery store, so we had a quick look at all the Japanese snacks and cooking ingredients in display. Although the interior is small and there isn’t too much space to sit and dine in (many customers were getting takeaway).
The food was delicious, warming and authentic. I enjoyed the okayudon, while others in our party had the curry udon and chicken Katsu don. Thumbs up to all of these choices! I’d also highly recommend the Agedashi tofu – it was steaming warm and delicious served in the salty soy sauce.

Lovely staff and such, such awesome food!! The cooks here are from japan and the taste is so authentic at reasonable prices! The Grocery has plenty of imported Japanese food and spices aswell, highly reccomend!

I ordered the kitami ramen, and I would give it a 3 star. The broth is too salty to me, and the pork pieces are a bit dry. A pretty interesting place with Japanese groceries and frozen products.

Got myself ramen and takeaway Unagi don. The ramen tastes alright and enough to fulfil my sudden craving. BUT the unagi don is mehhhh and have a HUGE room for improvement LOL. Can’t believe I’m paying $26 for such poorly presented unagi with no toppings to eat alongside (like caviar and seaweed salad). The price and the sauce taste awful! Will never recommend this place to anyone
