I grew up with Rita’s in Pennsylvania. So good! I’m glad to see them opening in the area. There are a lot of ways to enjoy the Italian Ice: one flavor, mixing flavors, gelati (ice with custard), as a drink (with or without custard), etc… Give it a try! While not necessarily “healthy”, some options are definitely lower in calories and sugar than say an ice cream or other dessert when you are looking to have a sweet treat. The flavors rotate, but there’s someone for everyone, including non-fruit flavors like cookies and cream.

This shop just opened & what a great first impression. The staff were all so kind & happy to help any questions I had regarding the menu. Their frozen custard is the best soft serve I’ve ever had in my life. I live in the neighborhood so it’ll be nice having them so close. I would love to see them have extended hours during the summer.
