I was in the John Day River Oregon Subway around 11:20 Ish a.m.. I was the only one in the subway shop. There was three subway workers standing upfront in the process of putting together an order that I assume that had been called in. One of the employees addressed one of the other employee saying no this is not what how they wanted it it’s supposed to be like this. The employee that got told this proceeds to say well. This is how I made it. I am too tired for this. I did not get her name, but she does have faded pink hair short to a little bit above her shoulders. Once I got home, I proceeded to call to inform the manager of what I heard, and I was told by the employees that she is out of town at Disneyland. While I was also ordering my sandwiches, I noticed the vegetables were not fresh and the avocado was brown. I don’t know if this is due to them not keeping up with her being out of town. This is not the manager’s fault I just feel that this was very disrespectful unprofessional And they are slacking because their boss is not in town.

I visited the Subway in John Day. This Subway is NOT dog friendly. It was a warm day; we asked to purchase a cup for a little ice and water for our Mini-Aussie. The young man said we had to pay the full price a fountain drink.He apologized, shrugged, and stated, “the owner makes the rules”.
I found the prices to be a bit higher compared to other Subway locations, although the absence of sales tax was a nice perk. Unfortunately, parking was a challenge as there was no designated parking lot for the restaurant. Customers are required to park on the street in front of other businesses, with the only spot in front of the building reserved for pick-up only.

The crew/workers here are terrible! I have picked up sandwiches from online orders, who are totally mixed up all together. I’ve never said anything till now. Also they don’t wipe out their microwave under the sandwich counter it seems. Why is it so close to the floor that it’s gross.
The only nice appreciated employee is a nice older woman.
Subway has discontinued honey oat bread which Is sad.
I usually buy a out four subs a week buy please train employees better.
On the cold cut combo they mess it up a lot.
