A few thoughts on this place:

1. The manager was working by himself. Super nice guy! But without help, we waited in the drive-thru for about 20-30 minutes with just two cars ahead of us. My young kids were losing their minds.

2. The chicken and sauces were amazing. Very, very tasty. Buffalo sauce in particular was excellent.

3. The fries were actually pretty bad! And I love fries! Each one was like 1” long and overcooked like crazy.

Overall — three stars. Just took a really long time. While the chicken and sauces were great, the fries/toast and overall experience couldn’t get me there.

They opened a few months ago and I finally got a chance to stop by. Chicken tenders are excellent! Very tender and juicy. Very high quality in my opinion. I had the Ute sauce which was good. The fries were a little small but tasty. I think steak fry-sized fries would be extra attractive for business. Take a look at your combo prices. They seem to add up to more than the sum of the parts. Overall, 5 stars. With that said, please stick around for the years to come. I think you’re the 47th or so business in that building.

The chicken id rate a good 9/10 very amazing.
The fries, (i did get this to go however so id eat them there) weren’t that great but its because they were in a to go container and the had sweat a little bit 6/10 but probably a lot better there so id give them another shot. Chick-N-dips id say when it is going to go, put them in a big cup or something so they can have a bit of air to prevent them from getting mushy. The toast super yummy too. 8/10
Best part if you dont like the fries you can buy a tender (which mind you are home style and big! For like $2) i would 100% recommend this place. Chicken can be a little salty on the breading so if you have a low salt tolerance maybe ask if they can toss it with light salt. Everything is cook to order and fresh from what I understand. Price is very reasonable. I will be a frequent customer for sure.

The food itself isn’t bad, however the environment was a big turn off to our meal. The glass on the doors were covered in prints and the floors were visibly grimy. The secondary door also did not touch the floor, allowing a 2-4 inch gap that let in the cold air so it was a bit chilly inside. There was no ice in the soda machine, only 3 knives in the utensil area, and the only high chair was being used to catch drips of some sort and was also very filthy. They were also out of some sauces and the sandwich buns. The guy working there was nice and quick, but the place can use some serious cleaning. It’s also a bit small so be aware if you’re looking to sit down and eat.

Food was hot and fresh. The chicken is juicy and crispy. I’m a snob when it comes to my toast and it could have been toasted longer, it did not have the crunch factor, but it was still delicious.

Tried the chicken when they were Shreds (same owners as Chick-N-Dips just a new concept) and it was okay! These do look different though so I was excited to pop in to try them on a Friday night!
We had already tried to get some chicken strips at another restaurant and had a poor experience so we decided it was time to try Chick-N-Dips! We checked their hours and on Google it says dine-in is open until 9:30pm most days and drive thru is open until 10pm most days. Their Instagram advertises that they’re open until 10pm EVERYDAY! Going in at 8:45pm felt totally reasonable as it was 45 mins until the dine in close and an hour and 15 until the drive thru closed. We were getting carry out so there *shouldn’t* have been an issue. We got parked and the neon Open sign was on, people were walking out with carry out food. All looked promising. However I opened the manager or whoever was working said “We’re closed. We close at 9. Sorry.” Which for 1. It was 8:45 soooo… but I get that if hours were posted as 9. I wouldn’t have come that close to closing time anyway. It’s the posted hours on Google— which I know can be inaccurate so I even get that. I checked the website and they have NO hours on the website. I checked Instagram and found the advertised hours matched at least the drive thru hours stated on Google so I do not feel in the wrong to show up here an hour before posted closing.
Post your hours correctly or stay open your posted hours. It’s really not that hard.
Shreds did the stuff so I fear it’s the same game different name. I had hoped the new endeavor came with more successful business practices.

Delicious food! We love the creative menu, and everything we ordered was executed so well. I’m not a huge meat lover, so the dirty fries were perfect for me. The blend of ingredients in the elote dog was amazing. If you love Lavender flavor, don’t miss the Dawn Patrol soda. Affordable prices and good service, even despite being busy during dinner hours.

Really unique hot dogs! The sweet and spicy was delicious. I was skeptical of the oversized bun, but when it’s stuffed with fresh veggies, fruit and sauces it makes sense. Smaller buns for the “kiddie” bare hot dogs would be good, as my kids wasted a lot of bun. We’ll come back when we want a good hot dog!

I wish I’d tried this place sooner! Hot take: the chicken here is better than Raising Cane’s. I said what I said. It’s crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, the bread is great, and even though the fries are just ok the rest makes up for them. If you haven’t been here yet this is your sign.

I went here the day after I noticed they were open. It was packed as it’s a new place in town to go. For being so new and so busy, they handled the chaos well and the staff was very friendly. The chicken was really great along with the fries, BBQ sauce were really great too.
