My wife and I wanted to try this out as we were craving for tom yum soup during this cold weather! We found this hidden Thai restaurant!
We ordered their Tom Yum soup with seafood, crab fried rice, and their spring roll with shrimp!
Tom Yum Soup w/ seafood: Flavor is all there but I wish they had put a little more seafood as it’s an additional $10. Otherwise, very flavorful and hit the spot! 8/10
Crab Fried Rice: AMAZING! 9/10
Shrimp Spring Roll: You can taste how fresh the ingredients! There’s a sauce that comes with it which was also good but there was an ingredient I couldn’t pinpoint. I just wish they were a little bigger in size for the price also as it was additional to add the shrimp 8/10
Mango Sticky Rice: Best mango sticky rice in Reno! 11/10
Overall good restaurant! Just be prepared for additional costs as it’s stated on the menu for the proteins to be added on the dish.

Omg run don’t walk. I don’t know how to describe how excellent the food is compared to the other Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Do yourself a favor and get the fresh rolls with Tuna …. Everything is excellent. The new head chef Perapol has made a gourmet experience in a humble envelope. Yum!

Was a little skeptical because it is located in a strip mall but I was pleasantly surprised! Frome the time I walked in the door with a welcome from the servers to the time I left, everyone was pleasant and friendly. The food was very tasty and served hot and at the spice level requested. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mood for Thai food in Reno. Thank you for a great experience!

If you are eating a plant based diet you can trust them. You can get the tofu in your meals not deep fried if you wish. It’s prepared healthfully and tasty. The fresh spring rolls with tofu are the best I have ever had. Start with those and you will begin your adventure with thoughtfully crafted food. You’ll Love the food and the staff will Love you. It’s like going home for dinner.

I had a great experience here. Recently back from Thailand in search of which local restaurant is putting out authentic Thai food.I always order the basics on my first try of a new restaurant.
I have to say, A Taste of Thai did a really good job in my opinion. The in-house made rolls were fresh and perfectly cooked. The green curry with chicken was super tasty and the heat was perfect for me. I ordered the 4 of 5 for their heat scale and found that to be a really nice heat…didn’t blow out my tastebuds and allowed me to enjoy the entire meal. The service was quick enough and the server was very pleasant. The price was what you should reasonably expect considering the current economic conditions and I always enjoy a beer or two with a meal. Definitely retuning!

A taste of thai cuisine was a wonderful experience. It’s rare to find papaya salad on a menu where I’m from so I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little disappointed they went light on the but they brought some extra spices to the table for us. The portions were the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. It was delicious food.
