Sat at the sushi bar section and it was a great experience. Watching the cooks prepare so many rolls and sushi was awesome to look at.
I just ordered my tuna sushi and presentation was great but the taste was just wonderful. Tuna was buttery and fishy in a pleasant way and the hint of wasabi was not my fav but still delicious .

At first I thought it was not very good, because the sushi wasn’t very tasty and it seemed really empty, dark, and dingy. I kept going because my kid loved the novelty of the boats, though. Now the whole staff knows us and welcomes us like family when we walk in. The waitresses get our drinks ready without asking and the sushi chef starts putting my daughter’s favorite sushi on the boats.

Now I realize that my first impression was influenced by the fact that we were going around 2-3pm, which is slow for any restaurant. Let me tell you, the difference between fresh sushi vs. sushi that has been floating around for awhile is out of this world. Their fresh sushi is phenomenal. I’d recommend going exactly at noon or around dinnertime because there are a lot more people, so the atmosphere is more lively and the floating sushi is nice and fresh.

One of my favorite things about this place is that all of the plates are the same price, so you don’t have to fixate on the color of the plate like you do at other rotating sushi places. I have not yet tried their hibachi dinners, but dining here has become such a special treat for our family that I surely will someday.

Amazing sushi and hibachi!! Great staff, really nice. Amazing bendy straws!!! I really love the sushi on the boats. And that if you wanted a certain sushi on the menu you can ask them to make it. Great place. I Never get let down! Been going for years and I recommend it to all my friends!!

This place has fair service and decent prices. However, the food is subpar. We chose 2 selections from the floating sushi bar. Both choices did not look or taste fresh. My husband ordered scallops. We were expecting sea scallops. What we received looked like bay scallops that someone flattened and cooked to a leathery crisp. Definitely not worth the price for steak and scallops. This place was a big disappointment. I don’t mind paying for good food but I left angry that I spent $100 here.

A little hole in the wall sushi place. But the sushi great, I can tell you I’ve been to many sushi joint and this place is one of my top ten. The have sushi come on Lil boats around so you can pretty much what you would like. They also have sushi menu you choose also if you don’t see what you like on the boats! They also have hibachi there toO even tho I’ve never made to it. Because I’ve mainly gone during lunch hour.

Sushi isnt as good as it once was.

The place is always empty. Gee, wonder why.

But, I like the concept of the boats, serving yourself and paying by the plate for sushi.

Used to come to this place ALL the time 15-20 years ago.

You can have a quick lunch or take your time and enjoy.

But, just not as good as it once was. Pieces of sushi are small and, last time, just didnt taste good or have good soft texture like it should.

That’s not what you want in a sushi place. Too many other GOOD choices available.

Heck I can go to Jewel in Bartlett, they make it fresh there!!!

After a few experiences dining here, this place has very low quality. The fish taste off and rubbery. The maki rolls are all rice and mushy. Do not order off the conveyor belt. It’s old. When advertised that it’s tempura, it should be crunchy not soggy.

The dinning room is always empty. Menus are dirty. This is the worst Japanese/sushi establishment in St Charles. Better off picking up at a grocery store. I left unsatisfied and ripped off.

House of Tokyo, more like like the House of No No.

House of Tokyo so good. Amanda so pretty. I’m serious.

This is by far the best sushi bar in the area. The owner and the staff provide a fun experience as well as excellent food. I can’t speak for the hibachi, but I always hear laughter from that part of the restaurant so it must be a similar experience. Actually witnessed a proposal happen there tonight, which is a testament to how nice this place actually is. If you are a fan of sushi and are looking for the most value for you money, this place will pleasantly surprise you every time.

We had a group of 13 family members eat here and it was great. The kids loved the chef. Food was great and staff was friendly. Some had sushi it also was good. Loved the float style of sushi delivery.
