My new favorite spot. The taste of the pernil and the Gandules makes me miss home and the aroma transports me back into my grandmothers kitchen with all the cousins running around, adults dancing and the pig roasting in the backyard. Thank you!!

This food truck was at Dirtbag Ales yesterday and we waited a whole hour for our food (the employee did not indicate there would be a long wait or anything of the sort). Do they really think that’s acceptable?? We were so close to asking for a refund and leaving but we were hungry from waiting so long.

First time trying this place and let me tell you right now the prices are justified by the amount of food you get! And it’s amazing! I got a Yucatazo and a burrifongo both with tripleta and they were amazing! Ask for the taquitos ! They were good af too! Amazing service ! And I will def be back ‘

We drive all the way from Goldston North Carolina! I have been coming here for a little while now with my grandparents, the food here is absolutely delicious an amazing. I really love coming here because I get to see huge smiles on my grandparents faces when they eat their meals. How they sit a talk about my great grandmother her cooking a the memories The food brings back to them.
If you’re a garlic lover like me you will love their food. If you love fresh Puerto Rican food then you will enjoy this place.
They also have great music playing which I really wanna know their Spotify playlist because Shazam almost every song I can when I go! The owner gave me a sticker for my car that I can’t wait to place on my car to let everyone know where to go for some great food!

I teach basic beginning Spanish in the after-school program in our grades K-10th downtown charter school called The Capitol Encore Academy.
They recently prepared sampler trays for our 8 – 10-year-olds for the end of the year Hispanic food tasting and they loved it.
Kids are picky eaters but they could not stop coming for more!! The service and food were beyond amazing and the owners are extremely dedicated.

Someone recommended this restaurant. We usually went to another Puerto Rican restaurant very close to this restaurant, but this one is better. The food quality, quantity, menu options, and choices are very good. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere vibe is good, and both the dining and bathrooms are very clean. The mofongo is delicious. The chicken and pork are tasty. This place is highly recommended! The only negative is that the dining area is small, so you may need to wait when it gets busy.
