I had so much fun at their Wednesday workshop in their new space. I signed up for one of their cute calendar offerings, and my friend and I had a blast with their sprinkle decorations. One of the owners introduced themselves personally and it means a lot when you get to meet a female business owner! The experience was fun and the cake cakes were delicious

The service at cake bloom was great! And the cake was definitely tasty. However, for $105 for an 8” cake that is supposed to serve 12-20 people, it wasn’t worth it. Pretty disappointing to see when picking up the cake. I wouldn’t buy a party cake here (equally delicious options at other bakeries for larger sizes and less cost), but I like their other creative ways to enjoy cake.

Can’t comment on price since I don’t live here. Portion size seemed standard.
Tried the mango creamsicle and the chocolate. Liked the mango more, which was like the ice cream but in a cake version, balanced and exactly the flavour I was looking for.
Chocolate was good as well, would personally prefer even more chocolatety denseness for the cream and more lightness for the cake, but that’s personal preference

The staff was awesome and friendly and helped me with arranging everything for Valentine’s day. Communication was easy and very friendly! Cake Bloom made Valentine’s day for a couple that is far apart a very special occassion! I’ve gotten the 8 piece cake sampler and every single slice was incredibly delicious! You can tell they use quality produce to make their cakes! My girlfriend was absolutely delighted with the cakes! Highly recommended on all fronts! Thank you so much guys and gals!

Ordered a cake in January for delivery on Feb 11. Paid $20 for the delivery, but the cake didn’t arrive. My partner had to wait for hours. No calls, no messages.
They admitted the mistake only after I emailed them the next day. They wanted to attempt the delivery, but my partner will be travelling. This is exactly why I ordered a delivery on Feb 11. In short, don’t waste your time

Great local spot in downtown cville Both cozy & crisp aesthetic. The blue lemon tea (shown in video) was very cool. French press coffee was better than expected! Cake was delicious but slices were smaller than anticipated, $6.25 per slice.

A sweet little shop on w main street. The cake is delicious and hard to top. The whole cake pictured was a hit for the holidays, and you can’t go wrong with the slice options. Be sure to take advantage of the seasonal flavors that rotate monthly. This is also a fun experience for the littles who can come in and have a slice and milk flight. The bubble pairings for the adults have always blended well with the cake flavors. Fun stuff happens, so check the calendars for special tea opportunities and other events.

I ordered the sample box for one of my GGF for her 40th Birthday and she is sooooooo in love with the cakes! Her favorite was the Simply Lemon and Floral Funfetti. Delivery was on time and the cake arrived in perfect condition! I will be ordering again soon for another GGF birthday.
