So glad to finally have a Popeyes Kitchen closer to home. This location just opened in January, and it’s a great addition to the area.
The inside is neat, clean, and modern. It is a bit smaller than some of the other Popeyes restaurants I’ve been to, but they make good use of the space.
I ordered pickup atvthis location as soon as I realized the San Carlos location was finally taking orders. The experience was smooth:
The workers were very friendly and welcoming.
Mobile Orders: They have a dedicated pickup section for mobile orders, which is super convenient if you’re in a rush.
Efficiency: Everything felt organized for a brand-new spot.
My order was ready before the pick up time which was nice..

Ordered tonight and literally HALF the box we ordered was undercooked/pink. You guys really need to train your employees or chefs to properly/thoroughly cook chicken before you get people sick.

Only my second visit and it will be my last. Extremely not happy with the fact that I waited over 20+ minutes for a very small order that was placed 10 mini prior to me showing up to restaurant. Spent half an hour of my lunch just waiting for 2 chicken wraps, French fries and small mashed potatoes…….i had to say something 3 times and then the manager took even MORE time by giving me an extra chicken wraps that I didn’t want to accommodate me. Not happy with this service. Another food place I have to cut out because I don’t know if I’m going to end up spending my lunch break waiting for my food after I’ve place an order for it online 10-15 minutes prior. Done with this location already.

I’ve purchased from this Popeyes location twice now, and both times the food was extremely salty. The fried chicken, fries, and even the biscuits were much saltier than what I’ve had at other Popeyes locations.
I understand that seasoning is important, but this was overwhelming and affected the overall taste. I hope the management can look into this and improve the consistency and quality. Thank you.

Look I get it. It’s a new location and it’s always a bumpy start when you first open. I’ve been here three times now with good time in between of me coming every single time and they are still extremely slow!!! They don’t look like they know what they’re doing and they still get your order wrong almost every single time.

this new San Carlos location is trash. I ordered the 16-piece meal. I got all my sides and none of the chicken. I contacted doordash and they were no help. they didn’t even give me any $ back. so I decided to try and contact the manager at that store instead since doordash was no help. Well that was impossible because that store doesn’t have a phone number and popeyes website is joke. So I’m out of $70 and nothing was resolved. I’m beyond upset and furious.i will NEVER go to this popeyes again and am reconsidering ever eating or supporting popeyes and using doordash any longer!

I ordered the classic fish sandwich but I wonder if they gave me the spicy one by mistake ? It was great at first , very crispy and tasty until I got a bite of hot pepper that burned my mouth. It was just that one bite so maybe they put spicy tartar on it instead of regular … or is the regular spicy too ? I don’t know since I’ve never been to Popeyes before
