The dumplings and baos were amazing. Next time I will try the beef bulgolgi. The yaki udon noodles were awesome, but there was flavor lacking in the whole dish, or maybe I just didn’t care for the fried shallots, which overwhelmed it. On two orders we asked for the garlic pepper sauce on the side, and that did not happen! The bubble tea was awesome. Take out and sit by the water in the public area. So awesome.

Got some fantastic pork dumplings at this stand at Sparkman Wharf. 8 piece was more than enough to share between my wife and and I. Had a slight kick to them. Wait was a bit long but not unreasonable. Only water was a $4 can of Mountain Water which was not necessarily unreasonable given location at a cruise ship terminal with patrons from 4 cruise ships milling about.

I wish I had time to order more food, because the steamed gyoza here were fantastic. Easily the best I’ve ever had.

The guy running the shop was nice, seemed like a cool dude. And the music playing in the surrounding plaza while I waited was tight (Janet Jackson, baybeeee).

Ordered the bao buns and yaki soba noodles. Absolutely delicious!! Bao buns were a little small and the noodle dish is enough for 1 person to be comfortably full. Highly recommend!

We tried a few of the food vendors in this area and Dang Dude is by far the favorite. Portions were large and flavors were on point. The steamed dumplings are highly recommended because of the delicious crispy onion dipping ‘sauce’ you get with it. Noodles were well prepared and super tasty. Slightly expensive but compared to the other vendors there this is still the best bang for your $$.

The ordering process was quick and efficient! I had no idea what a Bao bun was and the employee took the time to show me what it was! Definitely coming back next time!

Delicious!!!!
We got the pork bao buns & fried dumplings as we were walking down the waterfront on NYE. Dang Dude was ready to serve it up quick, hot, and mouth wateringly good! Well worth the price point. The sauce the dumplings were in was nearly drinkable it was so flavorful. Definitely check them out if you’re in Sparkman’s Wharf 🙂 we’ll be back.

Danny’s food was amazing! Highly recommended!! We got their Korean pork bun, fried pork dumplings, and bulgogi steak bowl and it was all amazing. The pork bun was nice and slightly sweet. The fried pork dumplings were perfectly fried and served in a house soy. Finally the steak bowl had perfectly cooked steak and served with a fantastic house made peanut sauce. Would definitely come by again!!!

The Chilled Dan Dan Noodles were great! I’m a big eater, and I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be a big enough portion to satisfy, but once they passed me the bowl through the window, that fear disappeared. This dish is PACKED HEAVY with noodles, flavorful creamy sauce, and a bunch of vegetable garnishes. I got the pork belly add-on, which added generous chunks of pork to the noodles. Pork was seasoned well, and the small portions of fat on the meat were melt-in-the-mouth creamy. The noodles were substantial but light, the sauce creamy but not heavy and flavorful with just a slight spicy bite. The noodles are surprisingly portable, too. Hold the bowl in one hand, and chopsticks in the other. Since the noodles are chilled, they are kind of refreshing in the hot sun! The service was very polite, too. Hands-down would give Dang Dude my money again.
