This is the perfect takeout spot. As soon as I opened my plate, I knew that I was going to need some privacy eating my food. I got the brown stew chicken with cabbage, and red beans & rice. Portion size is well worth the price. Taste is 10/10 I definitely recommend and will be returning

If you have not had the Escovitch (red Snapper) your life hasn’t started yet You can thank me later. Don’t try to be cheap and get the Tilapia. GET THE RED SNAPPER ESCOVITCH with peas and rice, a beef patty and cabbage. The sun will come out as you eat it.

Yeh Mon Jamaican is hands down the best Jamaican food we’ve had in North Carolina! We’ve been eating here for years and have tried just about everything on the menu, but the brown stew chicken and beef patties are our absolute favorites. The flavors are always on point, and the quality of the food is consistently amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine, Yeh Mon is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Got the ox tail meal (dinner) only 2 pieces had meat. The rest was nothing but FAT. It wasn’t properly cooked all the way through because of how the fat looked. Called wouldn’t get an answer, next day spoke to owner she wanted the plate back before refund… I WOULD NEVER GO BACK

Haven’t had this place in awhile. The goat was good but ALOT of bones and the oxtails had alot of fat..Good flavor but alil too expensive for the flaws..oh and sorry, I forgot to take pictures before I started eating, I was hungry

They’re take out only and we waited 20 min for our food. Two meals were $56. Most places include plantain but we had to pay for it as a side. The oxtails were good but greasy. My goat curry although good had more bones than meat. It needed heat as well.

Everything was really great and service was definitely better than the last time I went there. The food is also well cooked and great the only problem I had was the beef patty I bought was super dry to the point where it looks like there’s no beef in it but it’s just stuff at the bottom.

The food is good don’t get me wrong but the wait time is ridiculous. You absolutely have to call your order in on most days and even then it takes a while to get your order. Overall, a good place just have to be patient though.

I have never gotten a bad meal from here. It’s always piping hot and delicious. The week chicken is my favorite. Very flavorful and spicy but just right.
