Delightful breakfast and lunch spot; the pancakes, biscuits and gravy were insanely good, as were the tater tots! Also Crislin was our server and she was amazing! Super delightful and sweet!

When I want the same kinda breakfast that my grandmother used to make me, this is where I want to go!
This isn’t fancy food, this isn’t franchise food, this is delicious food prepared with care, attention and, dare I say it, love!
The place is charming, the prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and attentive!
Be sure to try The Barn the next time you’re in the Columbia, or Mount Pleasant, TN areas!

We were passing through the area and stopped here for breakfast and we had an amazing meal. Nothing fancy, but everything was very tasty. The portions are very generous and a good value for the money. The service was very friendly and the place had a casual welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely come back.
PS – I would recommend they improve their coffee … it was on the weak side for my taste.

Ordered 2 meals(a meat w/ 2 veggies) and paid almost $30. The chicken and dressing had absolutely no chicken in it or on the side. The green beans were canned with alot of huge stems in them. The mashed taters were bland instant. Also didnt get rolls or any kind of bread. I called up there and just told the girl that they must of forgotten the chicken and didnt mention anything else. The girl was obviously a new employee and kept stating she didnt know what to do. Stated she knew they were running low on chicken earlier. She said she was going to call the owner and asked me to call back in 10mins. When i called back she said the owner said the chicken was mixed in with dressing, which was not a shred of any in either meal. I told the girl i would bring the meals back and show them. When i walked in the door with the meals the girl immediately took off the other way stating it wasnt her and she had nothing to do with it. I also tried to show them some of the huge stems from the green beans and nobody would say or do anything. I wasnt offered a refund, substitute meals, or nothing. It was like they were lost and scared for some reason. I opened the boxed meals to try and show them and the girl took off. Very unusual and unprofessional experience. If the owner is not there one would think they would leave somebody in charge for circumstances like this. Needless say, i just left the meals and told them they could throw them in garbage and i wouldnt be back. When i turned to walk out the door a girl back in kitchen area sarcasticaly yelled very loud ‘thank you and come back’. Like i said, very unprofessional with poor business standards!!!

:((every time I come here I think it might be different but this will definitely be my last time….there was a beard hair in my food tangled between my scrambled eggs
The pancake is like a sponge?? And the strawberry syrup what even is it because that’s way too watery to be syrup…my biscuit is so dry and burnt I had to tear off the bottom(before I saw the hair)and my gravy was stuck together in the little serving dish. I couldn’t even put any on my biscuit, I had to mix water with it……. The people are very nice but this food is…not at all good and honestly barely edible

I like smaller diners. When I got there there was a 3 Top, a table w 3 people. I asked if I could sit outside (highly recommended).
The young man took my order, brought my coffee but then seemed to forget about me outside.
More people started coming in, 2 more, but, why wasn’t he checking on me or asking if I wanted more coffee?
I waited so long that just when I was about to head inside and ask if he’d forgotten about me, he came out with my food/coffee.
A few more people filtered in, one was a young woman. On a pretty short time, she opened the door with a smile, “Do you need anything?” Holding up my coffee cup just a little, “May I have a refill?” And there was my refill and some napkins. She came out a few minutes later with the same question and my attitude towards the restaurant shifted towards the positive.
This young woman made me feel welcome, and well, not forgotten as sometimes people can feel if they haven’t been looked on in a bit.
It was a pleasure sitting outside for breakfast before our got too hot. Just don’t forget your customers, even if they are the only ones sitting outside.
