I found this place looking for a place to comfortably eat and work after an appt at the govt building.
FRESH and super tasty salad at reasonable cost and filling portion. I added the happy hour special octopus fritter. SOOOOOO good! I had to exclaim out loud how much I enjoyed the meal.
Super friendly and down to earth folks that deserve your business!

Went here for the first time yesterday and tried the spicy version of their Japanese beef bowl, which is a fancy version of gyudon with kimchi, salad, and a poached egg on top. This was full of flavor as I immediately devoured it. Overall, the place is clean and cozy, and the staff are friendly.
The only thing preventing me from coming here more often is the location, as it’s about a 12 minute walk from where I work.

Stopped in for lunch and got the Caesar salad with chicken & Vietnamese iced coffee. Salad was ginormous & both were delicious. Staff were all super friendly and engaging. The space was cute & airy with lots of seating. Will be back!

Local spot with relaxed vibe. The macha infused waffles paired with crispy and juicy chicken was a tasty surprise. So many delicious things to explore on the menu.

Delicious food at a good value. I had the Vegan bowl+ fried chicken, all veggies fresh and chicken was perfectly Fried. Service was great but minimal so 4 of 5 stars – you order at counter and they bring food to you. Atmosphere is ok.

Such a gem in the neighborhood. I eat at Plenty for lunch as often as I can! The food is healthy, delicious, affordable and has a local vibe all the way around. The person who is always at the register is so friendly, nice and happy it’s contagious I would go back just for that.

This is a calm respite in the midst of downtown. The food was amazing and it made me feel good the rest of the day. Who says you can’t buy happiness. Come. Eat here!!!

We were actually headed somewhere else, but noticed it was open for brunch and decided to check it out. Originally I thought it’s a vegan place but no, plenty of meat & eggs on stuff. It’s like if my mom & dad learned about healthy eating and then opened a restaurant so it had some traditional Asian element and then swapped out with some hipster/healthy element (like brown rice and salads). Food was tasty, menu was a delightful surprise, the matcha latte was okay, foam bubbles were a bit on the larger side. Definitely recommend checking it out, delicious and nutritious, definitely a good spot after my trip to Maui where I was eating ample fruits and veggies.

My favorite salad spot in Oakland! Salads are always fresh, crisp, and interesting, and the stellar fried chicken add-on makes it a satisfying meal. I always look forward to coming back.

The brown rice bowl was really good and fresh like all the reviews say. Portion was great, if not too hungry, one bowl even feeds two. But, assuming you come hungry, it’s extremely hard to justify spending $13-14 on a bowl that did not even include protein (those are a good $3-6 add on). 🙁
