Bun bo is one of my most fav dish, even more than pho! This place is pretty decent for a lot cheaper than a lot of restaurants out there. 13.99 a bowl as of june 25’ ( usually i see it goes for $15-$17 now). Lot of meat, noodles and toppings r yummy. Broth could be improved a bit more since i feel it a bit bland, like not too beefy taste like other places but does not means it bad, still plenty flavor. I ate here 4 times already so ik i like it. Def go try. 7/10 🙂

The place was in a great location with plenty of parking and the staff was very quick and attentative. This place is small so not a lot of seating but they do have some outdoor seating which is nice.
Now for the food, I got the bung bo hue special so it contains almost everything (the hue saugage patty, blood cake, shank, boil pork belly). The soup came with a very small side of vegetables, I was expecting more herbs and was hpoing for some banana flower but hope was dash. Just your basic lettuce and bean sprout. The bowl was flavorful but just a little bland for me, I didn’t get that hint of bung bo hue flavor, the man ruoc and lemongrass. It was also very sweet which is not what I look for in a good bowl of bung bo hue. In addition there was a lot of MSG as I can feel how thirsty I was after eating it. I am ok with MSG but too much of it kills the flavor. Will not be back as there are so much better places that serves bung bo hue in OC.

This is my 10th time i ate Bun Bo Hue here. I tried many places and i love this place. I hope they keep up the business longer so i can enjoy their delicious Bun Bo Hue. Its very tasty and they cooked the shrimp paste which help me away from stomachache if you eat raw from the jar. Price is affordable also, the pork blood pudding is perfect cook, absorb the broth very well, i always add extra. Yum! Thank you so much! I will recommend all my friends here.

Bun bo hue 102 is located in a food market. They have a few other food vendors. This reminds me of the delicious street food that you see in Vietnam.
We were there on a Friday night and it was packed and we were lucky to find a table.
I was glad to have tried this place. The Bun Bo Hue broth was good but it wasn’t spicy so you have to add the spice to your liking. They had all of the right ingredients that is supposed to go into the soup. The best part is that the price is spot on!
So if you want a great bowl of bun Bo hue at the right price, this is the place to try!
