We ate lunch. Plenty of options to choose from home style dishes that include seafood and pasta. The sizes are decent and prices are fair. They also have a generous selection of home made desserts. The service was excellent and the place filled in fast after we got there. I’d definitely eat here again.

Don’t judge this place by the exterior. Seriously. That would be a mistake.
Crazy Horse Cafe was stellar. My wife ordered a hamburger with fries and both were excellent. The fries were seasoned perfectly, not an afterthought, not salty sadness.
I ordered the Sam Steak with a side salad and fries. The salad had genuinely good croutons, which already put them ahead of half the planet. I asked them to put the fries on the steak before the cheese and gravy and that turned out to be a fantastic decision. Total poutine vibes, Southern edition.
Service was friendly, food was hot, portions were solid, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy.
We keep a very short list of places we actually eat at, and this one just made the cut. If you’re driving past and thinking “eh”… stop thinking and go inside.

While this place may not look like much on the outside, I came for lunch based on people’s recommendations, and wasn’t disappointed.

The prices were fair, and the menu selection ranged from spaghetti, country fried steak, fried chicken to build your own burger or fish plates.

I got Onion rings, hot wings, a fish plate & banana pudding. The onion rings were fresh and had good flavor! The wings were also good, but not “hot” and only one flavor to choose from. Still enjoyable though!

The dessert selection was MASSIVE. With a plethora of cakes, muffins and pudding – I chose the banana pudding because it’s something I haven’t had in awhile. It was a HUGE portion.

All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience but the service was a little on the slower side with the small amount of people that were dining in. This is a place for fairly priced home style cooking, and if I were to go back for anything – it would definitely be the dessert selection!

*Update: I went for breakfast one weekend, and it was a very good, affordable breakfast. They do their eggs and French Toast well. I also wholeheartedly recommend getting their French Toast Muffin buttered and grilled, a very good opening appetizer!

This place serves some incredible food! I wholeheartedly recommend the chicken sandwich with bacon and cheddar cheese. It is the most perfect chicken sandwich you will ever eat, better than any fast food place you can name. The breading is a good flavor, texture, and consistency without any weird aftertaste that some pieces of breaded chicken have. I also recommend their BLT – sourdough bread toasted and buttered with romaine lettuce and flavorful tomatoes. For any sandwiches that include bacon, they don’t leave it hanging out like most places. So you will get bacon with EVERY bite. Desserts are good, too, especially their moist, warm, and crisp carrot cake. Make sure you bring your appetite when you go!

A cozy local restaurant serving up country goodness. Everything you would come to expect to include locally caught mullet and home-made desserts. You want to know where the locals eat, well this is it. Serving was astounding and super friendly. We felt like we were family by the time we left. A great find!

Do NOT pass this place up!!! YUM!!! Remember the crisp edges of grandmas skillet pancakes? The hash browns you could soak up the gravy with and they stayed crispy? The omelette that was so full, but yet was small enough you could actually eat it? THIS PLACE HAD IT ALL! You will not be disappointed, I promise.

Food was good especially the hush puppies. They were very patient and kind as our 2yr old nephew acted as toddlers do. Let them play or let them scream are sometimes the option, we chose to let him play and they were wonderful about it.

I ordered the chicken livers they tasted like they were cooked in old burnt grease. Nothing there is homemade that I had anyway. The potatoes are instant which they do make good instant potatoes… I give them that, but the Green Beans were just straight out of the can …not seasoned straight out of the can like you’d do at home. Don’t think I will go back…
