This place is a hidden gem in the city of Philadelphia. It’s located inside of the Reading Terminal Market. The customer service is outstanding. And the turkey is fresh. I got the #1 turkey on baguette with lettuce and tomato, delicious. My date ordered the #2 a turkey wrap. The bread other ingredients were all fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this location.

On our way back to NC from NY, we stopped in for a wander in Philadelphia, and I’m so glad we picked up some turkey for lunch! My husband went for the turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn. I tried the turkey steak (like a cheese steak and a chicken Parm had a turkey baby in the best way). My only note would be that the bread might have been a little better if it was slightly warm, otherwise, great food and good portions at a decent price. I also forgot to ask for a receipt for parking validation possibilities. Oops!

The turkey is so juicy and flavorful and the sourdough stuffing is just incredible. I could literally have this every single day.
They’re so speedy and very friendly.
Would give this 10 stars if I could because they PACK the containers. It’s a perfect seal. If it was appropriate to do so, I would’ve licked it clean in public.

My new favorite place at the Terminal! I had heard only good things about the original Turkey before I went and it did not disappoint! The staff were extremely helpful and nice and the atmosphere in that part of the terminal is awesome. But it was the BIRD that stole the show. I got the lunch box, but don’t think you can go wrong here. Juiciest turkey I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll be finding a way to get one of these on my table come thanksgiving time!

I got the Stuffin’ Club (turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese & stuffing & cranberry sauce) and it was out of this world delicious! A very generous portion of fresh & flavorful turkey sliced right in front of you. The added cranberry sauce and stuffing were such a treat. My wife and I split it it was so large. So unique and one of the tastiest sandwiches I have ever had. The staff was working very hard the day before Thanksgiving and always does a great job, and The Original Turkey never disappoints. A real gem and a Reading Terminal favorite for years. Highly recommend!

What could be better than a Turkey Reuben with Russian dressing and Swiss cheese on fresh rye bread with a side of cranberry sauce and cornbread.

Bought a 22lb turkey, mash potatoes, a bucket of gravy, stuffing, green beans and corn bread for Thanksgiving. Best decision ever. Always get the bucket of gravy, it’s unbelievable and you WILL use it. Also, the heating instructions were perfect and exact, except for saying to microwave for a couple things as i don’t use a microwave. Thanks for helping us make our Thanksgiving perfect. We will be ordering from here every holiday from this day forward.

Man this place was one of the best spots i visited in reading terminal market. I got the Turkey with Swiss && bacon ranch. It was so good . The turkey was sliced fresh while you standing there. It was hands down one of the best turkey wraps I’ve ever had. My sister got the turkey cheese sandwich and she loved it. Definitely worth trying.
