So far, this is my favorite ice cream shop. They have so many flavors to choose from. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate Sundae without the chocolate syrup because I was worried it might be too sweet. The pistachio ice cream was amazing—I could taste whole pistachios inside, which gave it a great crunchy texture. The dine-in area was clean and nicely decorated.
I’ll bring my all family here next time.

To whoever served me on August 31 2025; I was the first customer and SHOUT OUT TO HIM! He was awesome! I’ve ordered the Dubai chocolate ice cream many times but THIS time!! I gave it to him, he takes his time making it!! And I was super happy because that’s how the Dubai chocolate inspired supposed to taste like.. everything is perfectly balanced!! Anyway here’s some pictures from that day and some other days we went for our sweet treats!!

Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming heart of Downtown Redlands! I stopped by this Ice Cream Shop yesterday after work. The inside of Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is stunningly decorated and perfect in appearance. I absolutely loved their island-inspired design and the laid-back ambiance. The staff were friendly, humble, welcoming, and incredibly cooperative. They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks. I chose Brownie Sundae with Pistachio, Double Fudge Chocolate, and Vanilla Ice Cream. They beautifully decorated the dessert with toppings like Sprinkles, Peanuts, Chocolate Syrup, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top, making it look even more photogenic and irresistible.
I took a few snaps of my beautifully decorated dessert and started devouring it without further delay. The dessert was so bomb! It was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. I loved it so much and finished it in 10 minutes!
I enjoyed the dessert. I had an amazing time and it’s no surprise that why Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream was crowned San Bernardino County’s Best Ice Cream in 2025. A great place for Ice Cream, Smoothies, Dessert, and Drinks. The prices are quite reasonable and budget-friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their Dessert items and Ice Cream.

Some high quality ice cream and shakes. The line was long but the service helped move it along quickly. The dole whip and the chocolate brownie shake was a 10/10 will definitely go back, with a variety of flavors and choices, you can’t go wrong with choosing this as your ice cream spot!

The location itself is very nice and has a fun Hawaii-themed atmosphere, which initially made us excited to try this ice cream shop for the first time.
When we arrived, my husband had an urgent need to use the restroom before we ordered, so we politely asked for the restroom key and explained that we were about to place our order. While he was in the restroom, I began looking over the menu since it was my first visit and I wasn’t familiar with the flavors.
Before I had time to decide, the employee repeatedly asked to check me out and pressured me to place an order. I explained that I was waiting for my husband so we could order together, but she continued to insist. Feeling rushed, I ordered a simple double scoop for myself and chose something random for my husband without him having a chance to see the menu.
I was then told that it was “policy” that only customers can use the restroom, despite the fact that we had already clearly stated we were there to purchase ice cream and were in the process of ordering. The interaction felt unnecessarily rushed and unwelcoming.
When my husband returned, the employee’s demeanor toward him was noticeably friendlier, while her tone toward me remained dismissive. Given how brief the entire interaction was (about three minutes) and how other customers were treated afterward, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out.
As for the ice cream, it was just okay. I tried the vegan coconut and mint flavors — the coconut was good, the mint was fine, but I didn’t enjoy the chocolate mixed in. Overall, it wasn’t memorable enough to outweigh the service experience.

If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, this ice cream shop is a must-visit! The service is nothing short of excellent, with a great and friendly staff. They offer a huge selection of ice cream flavors, each more delicious than the last. They’ve recently opened Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice inside the shop, adding a selection of authentic, finely shave ice topped with rich, tropical flavors that are absolutely delicious.

I have only been here a couple of times and it has always been really good. I was walking around downtown today and my wife had to take a seat to feed our 6 month old. We sat down at a table outside and a worker immediately came out and very rudely asked if we were going to buy anything and if we weren’t, to move immediately because the tables are for customers only. There were no customers in the store or outside. No body is lining up early morning in December for ice cream.
If the employee was nice I wouldn’t have had a problem with it, but yelling at a breastfeeding mother to move from your empty tables is on another level.
*Update*: Also deleting instagram comments that shine a light to negative customer experiences with your staff is also extremely misleading and a poor business practice. Extremely disrespectful towards the small family community in Redlands.

Traditional Hawaiian Ice, even had the ice cream in the middle. I haven’t seen a place like this since Hawaii. I had the banana split with scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, but forgot to take a beginning photo. Sorry. The crew was busy and friendly, the line moved fast, and the place was spotless. Excellent business, nice job Lappert’s!
