I had dinner at China Kitchen today, and the experience was amazing! Vivian and the team were super friendly and accommodating — they customized a special eggplant with pork dish just for me, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic, perfectly balanced, and full of that comforting homemade taste.
Thank you Vivian and the whole China Kitchen team for such thoughtful service and great food. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves genuine Chinese cuisine — five stars all the way!

This place is amazing! We have got take out from here several times, and it is always top notch. The food is ready quick, and is always very good. The service is some of the best I have ever seen. They have our usual order saved, so we just ask for our usual. (Talk about customer service!) one time they were out of their usual tea, and not wanting to disappoint, Vivian made us some with her personal family tea. Every time we have gone, she has been there and is always super friendly, helpful, and caring. I can’t recommend this place enough. Please come support this local business!

Why all the
Good reviews? The older waitress was very rude to me and my brother today. She just threw our plates down like we were a bother. I brought it up to her and then she was nicer. I don’t understand what we had done? We were only polite to her. She was busy with door dash orders but didn’t seem to want to be bothered by her inside customers.
We were her only inside customers at that time. I will never step into that place again!

We had fun! The food was very clean and fresh tasting. I felt bad that there was only one server. The decor was pleasant and pretty. The bathroom was clean.

The best there is in Ventura! This is a well-known hidden gem here. I asked a Walmart checkout clerk for the best Chinese in the area, and without missing a beat, she said, “China Kitchen!” I ran over there, and I cannot stop going there since. I love the orange chicken. But I also love the beef with broccoli, string beans with pork, juicy pork dumplings, sizzling rice soup, triple delight over the cripy noodles, and the house special chow fun (thick rice noodles). I recommend them all. The prices are reasonable. The service from Vivian is as good as any service can get.

Authentic food, user-friendly menu, real people that know their guests and treat them well. I tried to save a portion of my Kung Pao Chicken for later but it was just too damn tasty. Perhaps overlooked after the mall anchor BB&B closed its operation, China Kitchen is on point. The egg drop soup, wontons, mini shrimp and egg roll can all be had in the dinner package for the cost of a couple of Starbucks’ Ventis. Check them

The restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. We ordered the cashew nut chicken and vegetable chow fun rice noodles and they came out hot and delicious. I was very impressed with the service and the presentation, will come back again definitely. Reasonably priced with big portions to easily share and take home for two people.
