This place is very nice. The service was extremely fast and professional. The atmosphere was great. The food tasted good, portions were small but if you ordered a full course i.e. appetizer, entree and dessert it will be filling, however it’s pricy as you would expect. Drinks were ok.

This is definitely an out of Guyana dining experience. The ambience complete with the panoramic view is 5 star. The service could use some work especially with knowledge of the different foods served. The food was good but my 14 oz NY steak was a bit tough and not as hot as just prepared would be.

Let’s start on a high note, the atmosphere in this restaurant is grown and sexy. I appreciated the holiday decor it was tasteful and on theme. The interior was so unique and warm. It’s perfect for a birthday dinner, family gathering and a date night. The service was accommodating but expect to wait a decent amount of time between courses. My family and I had the pepper pot dumplings, pineapple jalapeño roll and the ruby salmon roll. The pineapple roll was 10/10 and the ruby roll was a 9/10 both very flavorful. For the entrees we got an array of steaks and lamb (local steak, t-bone, angus, wagu burger and lamb rack). All of meat dishes were prepared beautifully and seasoned well. I enjoyed the lamb it was very tender. The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection and I appreciated the sauce options and seasonings. We paired this with the truffle mac , puree potatoes, and asparagus. All of our sides were cold and not very flavorful which was disappointing. I was looking forward to a cheesy, creamy, Mac with a burst of truffle at the end. The mashed potatoes were dense and bland but I enjoyed the asparagus it was very well seasoned and cooked well. Now I am home and feel a bit Would I go back yes for scenery but unsure about the food. Finally for dessert we had the cheesecake, molten cake and s’mores cake. The flavors were a bit mild for the chocolate desserts but the basque cheesecake was delicious. I enjoyed the ambiance and the cuts of meat but the sides and dessert needs some work. Especially because after dinner my family and I had a bit of a digestive discomfort after dining so I wonder if the cold sides are the culprit.

The food is costly, with little to no favoring. It’s salt and pepper-seasoned only. For a restaurant in Guyana, regardless of the core cuisine, they should know how to season the food. I was highly disappointed with the experience. Would not recommend.
