Oh, how I’ve missed you. Back in the day, I would go to Thai Angel in Islandia, which to me had some of the best Thai food. I was never able to find a replacement after they closed, however behold, their new place, Amazing Thai. It really is some of the best Thai food you’ll have and you won’t want to miss out! This place is AWESOME! Me and my wife went here at like 8pm on Friday and got seated right away. Wife and husband owned and attended by them as well. This team are so polite and welcoming it was great. Interacting with the owners and giving us a little history about them and the place was friendly and interesting. No complaints what’s so ever. On the way in we were told by customers coming out that no matter what we order we were in for a treat. Man they were right, so delicious that u should run here not walk, thank me later! Well this incredible family restaurant is just that, Amazing!
As an Executive chef, I always look for the outmost, the best, the simplest or the outlandish…. This place feels like a home, you came to the owners home, he was watching tv, got up and greeted us as his family guests, his wife told us to seat where we like, and gave us the menu and explanation about the spicy food, she asked of we ever ate Thai food…. The foods were as fresh as possible, superb and delicious.
Variety of dishes and combinations that will make any guest happy and very full, this place worth the drive from the city to Long Island… and it’s near the green belt hiking trails…. Another worthy destination…I had too many items, but enjoyed all of the foods, didn’t take pictures of everything…

Ordered take out and everything was delicious, only complaint is I ordered Thai hot and it wasn’t nearly as spicy as id have liked.
Curry puffs were fat and flavorful and the dipping sauce was nicely balanced.
The pad thai which was excellent, great flavors noodles were cooked just right.
The spicy green beans were my favorite and also the spiciest of the 3. Green beans were fresh, had a great snap, and it came with some jasmine rice.
They were out of Thai iced tea which was sad but I’m sure it’s good there.

We followed Joy and her family to this new location (previously Thai Angel in Islandia). They are the sweetest, most hard working people I know. We would follow them anywhere!! First, we love supporting small and family owned businesses. Second, the food is always fresh and absolutely delicious, so amazingly good that it makes you wiggle in your seat with happiness haha! Thirdly, the ambiance is cozy and love all the authentic Thai touches throughout. Such friendly service and never rush you. Just wish it was closer so we can go more often. My husband’s favorite is the Golden Walnut Chicken and I love the Garden Delight. When in season I will always get the Mango with Sweet Rice! Whether you dine in or takeout it’s the perfect meal!!

Amazing Thai is by far one of the best Thai restaurants on Long Island. I have been eating at this location and the last one for years and have never had a disappointint meal. The owners treat you like family and ensure every dish is made with the freshest ingredients. You can taste the love in every bite. Whether you live close by or further away, Amazing Thai is worth the trip!

Came in to try some Thai curry heard it was delicious here and authentic greeted by this handsome young man seated, gave me the run thru about each curry and what it’s like decided on the yellow curry cause I love carrots in a stew came in nice and hot he offered me chai tea with the meal it surprisingly went very good with the curry 10/10
