Old-fashioned institution turning out classic donuts & pastries since 1973, plus bagels & coffee.

I’ve tried several items here including apple fritters, different donuts, and an apple turnover. Everything is always delicious, and the staff are friendly and fast. The coffee is pretty good too. I’ve had it a couple times and it was fresh both times.
The interior has a few tables and a bar top area by the windows. It’s got that classic diner/donut shop vibe and feels a bit dated, but I think most people grab and go anyway. Last time I went, I got an apple fritter, apple turnover, and a cinnamon bun for just over $10 with tax. Great value, especially since each pastry could easily be split between two people. I took mine to go and had breakfast sorted for three days.
The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the cinnamon bun. Way too much cinnamon. It had that cinnamon fireball candy heat going on, just overwhelming. If you do take the cinnamon buns home, reheat them in a preheated oven at 325° and let that icing caramelize a bit like a brulé. That’s when they really shine.

Open late. This place has great donuts. Lots too choose from. Young gentlemen serving us was super polite and very knowledgeable. Thanks for #13 my friend.
The old fashioned glazed was way too good. Pumpkin fritter was awesome!!!!

Fox’s Donut Den is by far, one of my favorite places to visit. Whenever I’m feeling low and don’t feel like shopping in the area, I go grab a donut and a coffee. Very family friendly! Prompt Service, polished storefront, and very warm and welcoming. This iconic donut shop, is a must visit on your trip to the Nashville area. If I could rate it 6 stars, I would rate it 7. Just grab a blueberry donut and a regular coffee, and you’ll be glad you started your day off the right way. ↔️

Was recommended to come here and get the apple fritter and I wish I would’ve bought more than two of them because they were so good and definitely worth all the sugar in them. Also got a kolache and the only thing that could’ve made that better is if it was warmer. We went in the night before to place an order and the girls working that night were the absolute best. Definitely recommend checking this place out

Was it crispy? Well, yes! I have high standards when it comes to donuts, and this place delivers. I was genuinely surprised by how fresh was — just that timeless flavor you hope for and rarely get.

Listen up if you want a doughnut and you are in Nashville or passing through, do not skip this place! The apple and cherry fritters are the absolutely amazing! Crisp out side, flavor and softness on the inside and perfectly glazed! My words can not explain the perfection of the taste of these giant fitters! No shame in the doughnut game!

The best donuts in Nashville…and probably the best apple fritters I’ve EVER eaten! (And I’ve eaten my fair share all over the U.S.)
They offer a wonderful variety of fresh cake, raised and specialty donuts, plus muffins, fritters, etc. and they are priced very reasonably as well!
The service is excellent, courteous and very helpful.
I generally get a couple dozen donuts when I visit and freeze the majority so I can enjoy them when the cravings are overwhelming…which is frequently. 🙂

Oh wow! Love this place! We have flashing Donut sign! Love it!! And you smell donuts cooking from the streets. It’s an old school type place. From the older gentleman in the corner to the guy who obviously makes the donuts. He had flour on his clothes! The donuts were fabulous! Especially the star shaped. The strawberry icing is by far the best tasting on our donut tour! So, this is my favorite now!! It just has all the elements for success! Yippee!!

Fox’s Donut Den is an Old-fashioned style business creating classic donuts & pastries since 1973, and of course coffee is available. I had the traditional old fashioned donut and it was delicious. Definitely a homemade feel, not a supermarket variety creation. The service was very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable of the products, their recommendation was spot on. Their famous Apple Fritter was suggested, but I would be turning my back on my home town Hilton, New York’s culinary staple. Be sure to stop in and while you are there check out their novelty collectibles, and some Mayberry’s Finest Products. Jams, Pickles, Coffees & Bacon. Purchase one of those and your donut or pastries is free. Tell Noah, that I sent you.
