The bartender was new and seemed more interested in the male customers rather than the female ones. Figure she’s guessing that they will tip better, but you can’t always judge by gender. If I get good service. I tip very well.

New owners are great… Previous owners of course Joyce and Roger were too! There have not been any changes to the menu or prices at this time and I don’t see that changing. Like a lot of businesses, it changed hands but it still is the same Rock, the heart of Ireland. Stop in for a cold beer while you wait on some delicious food !

We drove here to eat on a Tuesday, only to find out their dining room is open only on Friday and Saturday. We were really bummed. We checked Google and it showed it was open… bcs the bar portion was, just not the dining room. We ended up eating across the street and had excellent chicken.

If you’re in IRELAND, Indiana, you must stop here! We went on St. Paddy’s Day and enjoyed an appetizer and a green beer. Beer in glasses or fish bowls only until 5pm because ~apparently~ it can get a little rowdy after 5pm on this particular holiday. Seriously though, I think the disposable cups are just more practical on such a busy day. Always great service and always get the pepper jack cheese appetizer. Delish! ☘️

The selection is nice but when you get deep fried anything it should be hot or at least very warm & not cold. This is the second time we have gotten cold food. Bacon didn’t appear to be cooked much at all and again was cold. Service was fine just don’t know how things can be cold after deep frying etc.

Great service. Best chicken and German Fries like Mom makes. Had pork chop special, best I’ve ever had! Love the bread pudding! Only place we tip the cook. Always tip your cook when food is good!

Decent atmosphere and nice people. Took fiver to get food with a short staff I assume and all the walkins. City siren went off when we arrived and made it a very uncomfortable. The steak was very moist but had nearly no flavor to it. Needed steak sauce to even eat it. The German potatoes are amazing.
