Just moved to the area and needed a good chinese resturant. Will definitely be back. I ordered Sweet and sour chicken, and pork lo mein with pork fried rice, egg roll and a soda.

My experience here was Good and believe me when I said is good. The food was good not oily it felt fresh. The young guy at the counter has good customer service. I moved from new York so I’m still searching for places to eat . I live in mount Pocono, I will definitely stop here again in the future for food.

I give A + bathrooms are clean, for me is very important it show’s how clean you are.

I’ve given this restaurant a few tries, hoping it would get better, but unfortunately it hasn’t. Each time, the food just hasn’t tasted good — it’s either bland, overcooked, or just off in flavor. The ingredients don’t seem fresh, and the dishes don’t have that authentic taste I expect from good Chinese food. I really wanted to like this place, but after several chances, I don’t think I’ll be back.

Some dishes here are quite good, some are not. If you order the right thing, you’re going to be very happy, if you don’t…well…ya know.

The chicken sticks here are probably my favorite in the Poconos. They don’t use the red dye and make them look all fake, it’s just quality meat from the broiler. When you’re trying to go low carb, grabbing an order or two of those on the go is awesome.

The wonton soup is just okay, I wouldn’t order it again. The broth has mild flavor and the wontons themselves were just alright.

The scallion pancakes are dense. They’re practically like regular pancakes. I’ve eaten at quite a few traditional Chinese restaurants and these are not the same that you’d get from one of those places. They don’t taste bad, just a different item altogether.

The chicken and broccoli is pretty standard, but good. I’d get that again. The General Tang’s is also middle of the road but you wouldn’t be disappointed with it if you enjoy General Tso’s.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, anywhere else. The food here is bad and expensive. Ironically, you don’t get much of it for the price, either. They don’t fill their containers and you’ll get anywhere between half empty to slightly more.

It used to be much better years ago. The previous owners sold the business and the new owners jacked up all the prices while cutting back on portions and the amount of proteins. They get away with this by coasting on the reputation of the previous owner and knowing they’re the only Chinese restaurant in Wind Gap. Trust me and take the 5 minutes to drive to Pen Argyl, Bangor, or Nazareth for other Chinese that is much better, less expensive, and actually gives you a pint or quart worth of food.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Nice seating area to wait. I think I’ll show up early next time to grab a seat for a few minutes 🙂

I ordered online and it submitted my order twice. They not only noticed, but were on top of it. I didn’t need to stop in or call. They had already fixed the duplicate order issue when I walked in to pick it up.

Honestly almost let the reviews get to me but it never hurts to try and see the real deal. I’m huge on Chinese/Japanese/Korean food so I don’t take it lightly if it’s bad it’s BAD. This place tasted pretty good gave me NYC chino vibes.Nothing was soggy or oily, portion was good and I didn’t eat till 20-30min later & food was steaming still. Price is reasonable for all I got. Would come here again!

We have been getting food here for years and it was always just ok.
Tonight we got it for the first time in months…the white rice smelled bad and was completely inedible. The spring rolls were mush and tasted off. The pan fried dumplings werd deep fried and dripping grease. We will never order here again.

Don’t let the recent negative reviews scare you away – definitely worth a try! We recently moved to the area and have been looking for a restaurant that serves food at the level we were used to in the city. This is it! We’ve ordered twice and each time the food has been to our expectations!

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?
This place served some great food. Went for lunch on 8/15/2024 and it was horrendous! I had my usual pork lo-mein and my wife had the beef and broccoli with steamed dumplings on the side. We got more fried rice than we did our entrée. The dumplings were decent but served straight soy sauce instead of traditional sauce. Broccoli was sour and seriously undercooked. More went into the trash than the table. Never EVER coming back here!
