This is a small Mexican restaurant selling tacos, burritos and plates. We tried a Super Burrito with Asada (beef). The price for the burrito to go was $19.00, no extras. There was not much meat or cheese or guacamole on this burrito. It tasted ok, but for $19 I can get better food. Sort of disappointing.

Wow this place is amazing! We tried the carne asada burrito and quesabirria tacos. The quesabirria and consume is where it’s at. So flavorful and the consume wasn’t watered down. The carne asada was fresh and seasoned well. It comes fully loaded with rice, beans, veggies and salsa. It was huge! Plus they have a salsa and toppings bar! Plus grab your own tortilla chips. We took it to go but they sell alcohol it’d be a great place for chilling with tacos and beer on the weekend or let’s be real during the week! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. Good prices for a delicious meal. A BIG plate of rice, beans, and two enchiladas with a side of a LARGE drink of Jamaica. All for $22

Great service too 🙂

See those pictures: The drink was so good I forgot to take one but just look at how big that cup is!

If you’re a longtime Alameda resident and miss the days when Juanita’s was a Park Street destination, the food and atmosphere at Casa Revolución Taqueria is going to melt your heart. Authentic, delicious, Mexican cooking at extremely low prices. Ultra clean dining area with fully stocked salsa bar and seating for toddlers. My spouse and I stopped in for lunch with our smaller boy and absolutely stuffed our faces for $30 and change, including two dinner plates, a kid’s meal and two sodas. The woman who runs the restaurant is helpful, friendly, and very kind. We will 100 percent be coming back with the rest of our family. Thanks for the awesome meal!

This place used to be good but with new management comes disappointment. Birrias plate was not a lot of meat and mostly fat. Not to mention the “consome” was pretty much straight oil. The horchata tasted like bubblegum. Go somewhere else if you want Birrias. Al pastor tacos were good tho

A taco craving led me to this highly-rated spot, but the experience was a bit of a mixed bag.

Atmosphere
The taqueria offers a clean, quaint setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, you’ll find booths and a salsa bar, creating a casual dining atmosphere.

Ordering Experience
Ordering is a breeze with options at the counter, via a digital kiosk, or by checking out the wall menu. I opted for the kiosk out of habit, even though there was no line – a bit quirky, I know!

Menu Highlights
I went for variety with their street tacos ($3 each):
– Carne asada
– Al pastor
– Chorizo
– Carnitas

The horchata was a pleasant surprise – not too sweet and refreshing, though it could’ve used more ice.

Food Quality
The tacos were somewhat underwhelming. Despite the decent tortillas and the addition of avocado and red salsa, the meat lacked distinctive flavors. Even with extra salt, it was hard to tell one taco from another.

Value for Money
At $3 per taco, the price seems a bit high for the quality offered. I left feeling like I might explore other options next time.

Service
On a positive note, the service was friendly and efficient. My order came out in about 7-8 minutes.

Final Verdict
While the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good, the flavors didn’t quite meet expectations. For taco enthusiasts seeking more distinctive tastes, this place might not be the top choice, but it’s worth a try if you’re in the area.

My new go to taco spot on the Island. Excellent food that’s reasonably priced. The best bang for your buck for street tacos. And these nachos have real cheese! Takes me back to the old Juanita’s days!

This is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Alameda now. My family and I go here at least three times a week. The food is absolutely amazing, the restaurant is nice and clean and the staff are so friendly. I have tried almost everything on the menu from tacos, burrito, super nachos, enchilada, chilaquiles and more and EVERYTHING is great. I have not tried something that I did not like. If you are looking for good affordable Mexican food then this is your place!

An amazing new taqueria in Alameda, and by far the best around! High quality tortillas (the chips are freshly fried), excellent meats all around (al pastor, lengua, carnitas, and quesabirria are my favorites so far), great salsas, and somehow cheaper per taco than every other spot on the island; cheesy, rich burritos too. Came here twice in the first week and will come back again.
