I recently ordered the House Special Ho Fun and I was really surprised about how fresh and authentic this tasted. I also ordered the Orange Chicken and was also surprised about how well the sweetness and sourness from the sauce and orange tasted together. The chicken wasn’t too dry or too wet. I will definitely be coming back.

Did they switch owners or cooks? As soon as me and my wife had a bite of the orange chicken and me of my sesame chicken we both noticed the difference in flavor from what we’re used to from yen ching in the past. They didn’t know how to make sesame chicken spicy so they gave me cup with a some spicy like oil pesto. Other times when I ordered it it came spicy cooked into it with tai chilis in it.. not bashing it just want to know if they did change

This place is terrible. The food has absolutely zero flavor. We ordered $47 worth of food and it was all terrible. They didn’t give us any sauces not even soy sauce. No fortune cookies, silverware, or napkins. Nothing. The person taking the order sounded like a child who wasn’t sure what she was doing.

We get takeaway from Yen Ching ALL THE TIME, it’s our favorite Chinese restaurant!! Portion sizes are great & we usually have enough for two meals! The Salt & Pepper Eggplant is DELICIOUS, if you haven’t tried it, give it a shot!

On 11/22/2025 I ordered take out for delivery. Beef fried rice, chicken egg food young and general too chicken. First, I was charged extra for eggs in the fried rice. 2nd the egg food young was burnt up and the gravy was very heavy and lumpy. General tso chicken was not spicy as requested. It was about 15 minutes before closing when I called and spoke to the owner. She was argumentative and unpleasant stating that she ruched getting my order out. I told her that I would bring the food back next day. She offered no resolution. She then stated “IF I DIDN’T LIKE THE FOOD THEN ORDER ELSEWHERE ” I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for a few years now. In my opinion it was the best chinese in the area. I spend almost $50.00 for this order with no refund or replacement. I will never patronize this restaurant ever again! This is not how I wanna be treated as a customer.

New ownership in mid 2025. Food has deteriorated. Chicken in sweet and sour chicken is soggy; the sweet and sour mix is tasteless. King paonchicken was acceptable. Pot stickers are small and may be frozen. Portions still good. Flavors are gone

I am so grateful for this small family owned Chinese food establishment. They have saved me many times when I didn’t have food on the table during busy days and nights. And through the pandemic they have become a regular staple.
The many different dishes on the menu are delicious and consistent, and the portions are generous. It is so close to home yet the high quality, large portions, and fair prices rival many of the Chinese restaurants that are further away.
My family’s favorites are the Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young, and BBQ Pork Fried Rice.
They always answer their phones and the food is promptly ready when it’s promised. The lady in front is so sweet and patient even when she has multiple orders to manage at the same time.
The owners early on had taken steps to ensure that their business is sanitized and they have installed plastic shield guards.
If you are in the mood for some good wholesome Chinese food, why leave the neighborhood? Yen Ching delivers a quality meal that always hits the spot!

Tried this place out, and I was not disappointed. First of all the staff was very friendly and attentive to my order. The Chicken Egg Foo Young and Chicken Fried Rice were delicious. The Egg Foo Young patties are huge, almost double the size of any other place I’ve ordered it from. I also ordered all of my food spicy, and they added the right amount of heat. I highly recommend them if you’re in the area and looking for a new Chinese food spot.

Worst experience ever. Ordered at 6 PM, expected delivery was 6:53, called at 7 PM said food wasn’t ready yet, called again at 7:30, food still not ready but refused to refund my order. Hopefully someone else doesn’t get our second hand meal because they seemed intent on redistributing. Will never deal with this establishment again. Used to be our go to for Chinese delivery.
