This place is a jewel in this small town. I met the owner, on her birthday, and she was so hospitable. She really cared toake sure I got what I wanted. I got the open faced roast beef with waffle fries instead of mashed potatoes. The gravy is amazing. The staff is very friendly and above all… This place makes you feel like you’re at your relatives for that weekend dinner with family. I recommend this place if you’re ever in Richwood, Ohio (or the area). You can thank me later.

As I have the opportunity to travel the highways and byways I get the opportunity to visit small towns and local restaurants. They are almost always better than the big chain restaurants and you actually get to meet local folks and listen to what is going on with them. Kelly’s Kitchen is such a place. You will immediately get a sense that this is a place that is at once welcoming yet not extravagant. When I walked in and sat down a total stranger and his wife from across the room greeted me with a very pleasant good morning. These are folks who I had never met before and likely unfortunately will never see you again. But it was all the same to them. They like being friendly here. Most of the folks sat at a couple of longer tables and talked about the affairs of the day and their own businesses. You get the sense they’ve known one another for decades. I get the sense that many were farmers. But unlike the way they are portrayed in the media these folks were quite on top of things. The food itself was about what you might expect. Decent amounts that were filling with reasonable prices. I thought the coffee was a bit on the weak side. But the waitress was attentive and pleasant. If you find yourself in the area, check it out. I think you’ll be happy you did.

Service is very quick. Nice decor and feels like a small mom & pop diner that I love. Coffee is very good. Food quick made great and hot.

If you like a family run, small town diner, this place fits the bill. Small and cozy, there were lots of locals having breakfast there(always a good sign). Although the breakfast menu is not huge, we found what we wanted and quickly ordered. Before we knew it, our fresh cooked breakfast was on the table. Eggs were done right, bacon was crisp, sausage was tender. It was a great way to do breakfast. When we come back this way, we will stop in again for sure!

We just enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Kelly’s. Delicious omelette, the best bacon I’ve had in a while, and a perfect cup of black coffee. Delightful waitress too!

Everything was on point from the decor, waitstaff and the food. It was our first time there and it won’t certainly be the last. Worth the drive if you are from away. Quaint little town with an equally quaint restaurant.

The first thing you will notice is the how clean it is—from the floors to the tables.

The waitstaff are genuinely friendly and I did not detect any overbearing perfumes from them that you experience in most restaurants, which detracts from the food in my opinion. They were very attentive to making our dining experience a pleasant one.

We had breakfast, the homestyle food done to perfection. The prices are very fair for the quality and quantity. We are very much looking to our next visit and easily earns a rating of 5 stars.

Note: in October they change to “Winter Hours” closing at noon.

Seriously one of the best country restaurants I’ve been to! The staff is always polite and interested in getting to know you while bringing you fresh home cooked delicious meals! Made to order and the owner Kelly treats everyone like family! Knew us by name after the first visit and always puts a smile on my daughter’s faces! Love the atmosphere and she also has other items from local entrepreneurs for sale in her shop helping her community any chance she can! Picture of when she had the Grinch come for Christmas!!!

Quality and quantity as always! Friday’s Special of ‘all-you-can-eat walleye fish’ never disappoints. It keeps our family coming back time and time again. Between great food and great service, it can’t be beat on the true down home country cooking. So good! We love Kelly’s

I’ve only been here for breakfast so this review is based solely on that. The food needs improvement.. The hash browns and bacon were both hard to chew. I had my 5 year old with me and he had to spit the bacon out because it was too hard. I thought maybe it was a new cook the first time we had it. Recently, I tried it again and had the same result. Our waitress was very nice though and I loved the interior of the place.
