Delicious, fresh vegan food! So happy to find this place on our way home from Vegas. Well worth trekking through the rain for today. The “fish” tacos were our favorite. The “Carne asada” was our second favorite. Ample portions. Great customer service and will be making this our food stop heading to Vegas and back

The spot has a charming vibe with plenty of seating and a laid-back, open setup. They’ve consistently earned top local recognition for excellence over the years.
Drawbacks:
Parking isn’t the most convenient, especially with its location right next to the transit line. Despite being the only customer at the time, my order of the taco trio with rice took quite a while to come out. The pollo tacos didn’t quite deliver on flavor. The building felt warm and stuffy as if the air conditioning either wasn’t working or was barely noticeable.

Today was my first time trying vegan food and the vegan vato. Can I just say how surprised I was that I didn’t realize any difference from a regular taco. These tacos are really good and so is the rice. I will definitely be ordering again.

I totally forgot to add my review(until now) from my visit back in June 2024. I ordered 3 different tacos that were all fully satisfying. I also ordered the side of beans not knowing I would be too full (from the taco trio) to eat them. Yes, it is located in a transportation center but I didn’t feel that way while there eating. The flavors and service was top tier! I’ll definitely revisit when back in the area

The best food you can eat between LA and Vegas. Tasty, fresh, light and the owner is super kind and full of joy. Both the enchiladas and burrito were fantastic. I admit the area is a bit.. unusual for a vegan restaurant but pay no attention to the surroundings, there’s security on premises and a police station nearby. Don’t hesitate, go in and you won’t regret it!

This is located in the transportation center but the decor is really nice with a great vibe! The lady at the counter was exceptional. She explained everything on the menu to us and was happy to answer my questions about ingredients (I have a lot of allergies). The food not only looked but also tasted amazing. Really well done vegan food.

Definitely check The Vegan Vato out if you’re in the area! Vegans and meat eaters will love it. This vegan Mexican restaurant is amazing! I love that they don’t use fake meats, instead they use natural substitutes such as jackfruit and hibiscus. This place is definitely a 10/10! Also I absolutely love the amazing events they are always hosting. My husband and I attended a cooking class and it was an incredible experience!

It’s Mother-in-law approved! Our family had the Nachos, Burrito and Taco trio. It is the first time my Mother-in-law finished a plate of food at a restaurant! The Taco Trio is a great dish to try different proteins. The “Pollo” was definitely a favorite.

I went the 1st time yesterday, and WOW, that is some of the most delicious food ! The flavors could bring a person out of a coma !
The cheesecake was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had, I’m not easily impressed by cheesecake, I normally don’t care for it, but it was slap your momma delicious ! I’m glad my mother wasn’t worth me ! I actually had to eat out 1st because I never leave room for dessert, I’m not into sets for the most part, and that cheesecake was just sweet enough and had that caramel like yum on it !
The Enchiladas Plate came with 3 and we got the oyster mushrooms battered and my friends and I each ate one & some of the rice and black beans ! Yum yum yum
We took the leftovers to my family, we love ❤️ dairy FREE because of lactose intolerance !!!
