We had a really positive experience at Watershed Café & Bistro.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and it was very, very good—think a classic breakfast sandwich done right, similar in style to an Egg McMuffin but with better quality. Mama ordered the breakfast burrito (no dairy) with beans and sausage, and she thought it was excellent—flavorful, filling, and well put together.
The kids’ orders were a mixed bag, which is pretty typical with four boys:
• One ordered the pancakes and thought the taste was good, though they were a bit sticky.
• Another also ordered pancakes and didn’t care for them, describing them as hard, chewy, and lacking flavor.
• One ordered the mac and cheese and did not like it at all.
• The youngest ordered bacon, and that was a standout—easily some of the best bacon we’ve ever had eating out.
We also ordered the beignets, both the powdered sugar and cinnamon versions. Reviews were mixed: I thought they were just okay, while one of the boys absolutely loved them and thought they were amazing.
The environment was excellent—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. We really appreciated the games and interactive elements, which made it especially family-friendly. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was extremely pleasant and welcoming, which always leaves a great impression.
For drinks, we both had the oat milk latte, which was okay—not bad, just not a standout.
Overall: a great atmosphere, strong breakfast options for adults, standout bacon, and genuinely kind ownership. Despite a few mixed kid reviews, we had a very positive experience and would absolutely come back—especially for breakfast.

Went for breakfast as we had heard many good things and wanted to try it. Went on a Sunday morning and it was packed. You order at the counter and then take a seat. The food and drinks were delicious but we were a little thrown off by how busy it was. My husband and I both had the hash and split a salted maple bun/croissant. I also had the pistachio macha. All was truly excellent.

I really enjoyed my first time at Watershed today! Love the atmosphere and my turkey panini was delicious! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I even got a gift for my sister from the many handmade items.

Stopped mid bite to take a pic for this review. The smell as you walk in was very pleasant and made me wanna have 1 of everything on the menu. Service was all around exceptional and I found the workers to be very kind. Can’t wait to go back

As a OC local I love exploring new businesses in the community, unfortunately this place did not give me the same experience as others have raved about. Service was alright, the workers were kind but forgot one of the 4 things we ordered and were a bit hesitant to give us the missing item. The aesthetic of the place is very cute, lots of local vendors with jewelry and mugs which were very cool, but maybe it was where we sat but there were so many flies (there were FIVE on my plate in an attached photo) just hovering around our table, we could not eat in peace and there weren’t any other tables to choose from. I had ordered a side of avocado and I didn’t notice until halfway through that most of it was spoiled. $4 for half a spoiled avocado… gross !! We could’ve complained to the workers but they were busy and we were already overstimulated just trying to fight flies off our plates and just wanted to leave. My partner noted that their hash bowl was alright but definitely could’ve been better for the price, and we’re not sticklers or anything, just a bit disappointed. Saddened and disappointed 🙁

I was getting my car serviced at Subaru dealership down the street. Walked over for breakfast since I had a 2 hour wait. This place was packed. After ordering my food at the register, I found a place to sit. I oredered a Pioneer Plate. My potatoes were a bit dry. However, there house-made sausage was delicious!

Wow! I visited for the first time for lunch today and was thoroughly impressed with the food and atmosphere. Very cozy restaurant space, friendly staff, and GREAT food. I ordered the “rainy day combo” (a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich with an amazing herby sauce on the side) and the portions were generous. They also have an adult beverage menu and full coffee bar. Great spot for breakfast and lunch in OC!

Watershed Cafe in downtown Oregon City is an absolute gem. The space is so cozy and inviting, and the customer service is always excellent. The food and beverages never disappoint — everything feels thoughtfully made and consistently delicious.
I especially love trying their seasonal menu items… the recipes are creative, unique, and such a fun change each time. It’s always my go-to stop when I have out-of-town friends or family visiting, and it’s also the perfect spot for a quick business meeting.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a warm, local favorite!

Service was friendly and fast! Food was delicious and left me wanting more. My only complaint was the breakfast sandwich, which was small and served alone was the same price as my husbands sandwich which came with salad or chips. It was much less food. Will go again to try something else.
