Had a horrible experience at this restaurant. Food took 1 hour 20 mins to come, our young child cried from hunger. Then when the food came, it was spicy. I specifically asked if any of the dishes we ordered would be spicy because I had a young toddler. The waiter blamed it on me and said the waitress was new and it was her first day at work and I should have asked him!? How would I know?? No genuine apology, no compensation, no nothing.
Food wise, it wad mediocre and small serve. Definitely not worth the 1 hour 20 mins wait.

Just had lunch. Our very young server was a sweetheart. Polite lovely girl. I had luksa, really good, other half prawns and garlic, also yummy. We will certainly be back probably on the weekend and the price was very reasonable

We had a fantastic lunch at Red Orchid during our visit to Victor Harbor. The Chef’s Special Crab Soup was full of flavor, the Crispy Chicken Udon Noodles were perfectly cooked, and the Chinese Meat & Seafood Fried Rice was delicious. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

We read some of the 1 star reviews but still decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did! Our experience was wonderful, the young man serving was extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The food was beautiful! 10/10. We live in the Barossa, so we are spoiled for wonderful food options, and I’d still eat here weekly if it was closer.

The food was really tasty, however a bit small, I ordered some japaense upon noodles with tofu thinking there would be a bit more veggies. Only a few pieces of grated veg. Very yummy! If I had known I’d have chosen the veggie option instead of tofu.

Been here a few times and never been disappointed. Honey chicken was the best I’ve tasted, lightly battered, nice and crispy. Service was great, didn’t have to wait long for our food. The young guy that served us was polite and efficient. Will be back again.
