I was out in Adrian showing houses and on my way back to Metro Detroit. I was hungry stopped into the Midway market and I was pleasantly surprised to find a sub shop in pizzeria Hometown Pizza.

I ordered two medium specialty pizzas, one was a deluxe which has everything on it and the other was a chicken barbecue Pizza. I was told that it would take about 45 minutes, the order was delivery. 25 minutes later, two bigger than expected pizzas arrived and they were very good one of the best pizzas in town I would definitely recommend this place not only where they delivered very fast but the taste was amazing and they also deliver beer and wine I would give them 10 Stars (anniversary edit.. LET’S MAKE THIS 3YRS IN A ROW “BEST PIZZA IN LENAWEE!” 2025)

Pizza is never cooked all the way when they are busy. I watch the employees pull the pizzas out of the oven early. Doughy and soggy. When it’s cooked properly it’s a great pizza. But it’s so inconsistent I don’t know if we will go back. Tired of cooking the pizza when I get home.

Unfortunately zero stars is not an option, because that’s the rating I would have given. The order was incorrect and the blame was put on us, essentially indicating that we lied about what we ordered. They stated that we were confused when ordering the food which is the reason for the incorrect order. We will definitely not be purchasing from Hometown Pizza at Midway due to their horrible customer service.

I don’t understand how this place has good reviews. Crust tastes like yeast, sauce has no flavor, barely any toppings on a large, at least the employee’s were polite. I will never eat here again, absolutely disgusting. Little Caesars hot and ready tastes better than that pizza, and that’s saying something.
