We are open 7 days a week at 2pm Monday- Saturday and at Noon on Sundays. Kitchen open at 5pm- 9pm unless it is slow kitchen may close down sooner but feel free to call to verify. We are more than happy to host you birthday parties, retirement parties, going away parties, class reunions and celebration of life. We also support fundraisers for the community and will donate 15% of food sales to fundraiser recipient. You dont need reservations, however, we do ask that if you are going to have a party of 6 or more to take a look at our menu and give us a call so that we can accommodate the group and will give more details at the time of the call.

We ended up getting our food to go because it took around an 1hr and 20min to make 4 burgers and a chicken sandwich. The burgers ended up not tasting great for the amount of tine it took for us to wait on them. There were a few people but they had already had their food when we came in. The waitress did a decent job but never came back to get us refills on our beverages. I would not come again.

We called the Windrift last minute and asked if they could handle a group of about 12 people. The young gentleman who answered the phone checked with the staff and said yes come on in. We showed up 15 minutes later with 16 people.
The staff was busy but they gave us GREAT service. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. Same with the bartender, he was fast and friendly. Everyone was so helpful. They even put on a local basketball game at our request.
On top of the great service, the food was impressive too. Our group had everything from salads, soup to burgers to steak & shrimp. Not one complaint from our entire group. They must have an experienced kitchen staff to put great meals out as quickly as they did.
I don’t write very many reviews, but from our experience last night, the Windrift Lounges gets 5 STARS. Thank you for the great experience!

I’m glad the windrift lounge reopened. Nothing really changed much except it’s menu. No dinners anymore which they we’re known for. Pretty much basket dinners. Sports bar atmosphere is gone or didn’t feel like one. Nice bar but food quality I think has gone down.

We have eaten here several times when traveling for work. Atmosphere is a very friendly, cozy local vibe. The long island ice tea is too acidic & needs attention. The food is always tasty & hot. Jalepeno BBQ sauce on the wings was excellent.

Hidden gem of Austin. Right from the beginning you are made to feel comfortable. Come with an appetite, the meal and appetizers were amazing. I would recommend the nachos, one of each and you will not regret it. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in making all of the choices known.

Food is actually really good and never really had and issue with food service. Service at the bar can be hot or miss. When it gets busy, there are only a couple of places to order drinks at the bar and the bartenders friends usually go to the beer end of the bar nearest the side door for faster service then those that have been waiting longer. Last visit you could see the frustration from many that service wasn’t being focused equally across the bar. Not always the case, but had issues with this before they shut down for COVID. Will check out again and adjust review based on service to make sure I give a fair and reasonable review. Also, if ordering any bomb shot, make sure you specify Red Bull or Liquid Ice.

If your not hungry and expecting food in a timely fashion, this is the place for you! a hour and a half for a steak and blt, on steak night of all nights and still no food. I paid for my beer that took 20 minutes to get asked what we wanted to drink and left.

We went out for dinner tonight to a popular bar and restaurant in town. I ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich with extra cheese. The waitress brought out our food and sandwich had no cheese. So I told the waitress and she kindly took my plate and brought it back with 2 pieces of cheese. I ate a couple fries that were amazing. I then dressed my sandwich with the toppings and took bite. Immediately I tasted a flavor that was not good. The meat tasted bad. When the waitress came back I told her that I did not like the sandwich and asked that it be taken off my bill. She politely said no problem. A few minutes later a man came to our table and said, “we cannot afford to waste a whole sandwich just because you don’t like it.” I told him that the meat did not taste good. He instited that they just got it in today. He walked away for a second and then came back and said, “Do me a favor and never come back here.” Wow. Come to find out he is half owner. This is not how you treat customers. And trust me we will not go back!
