Took long to get my burger. Asked for well done, received a burnt patty. Tasted disgusting and threw it in the trash. On top of that, it’s overpriced. Never buying from there again. Would prefer to have a Five Guys or Elevation Burger at the mall instead.

BGR has the best burgers. Their meat is always seasoned well and you can basically get whatever you want on your burger. The special burgers are always good. They also have fantastic side choices. I love their asparagus and their fries. They have some tasty alternatives to red meat with tuna and veggie burgers.

I want to give this place a better rating because I love their food….but I just can’t. First visit a few weeks ago, I ordered a Wellington and received none of the topping on it. A $10 burger completely bare….AFTER I waited 25 mins for it. The manager was super apologetic but I’m just a girl who loves her food to be devoured within two seconds upon receiving.
Last night I ordered for myself and my kids. It didn’t take as long (10-15 mins) but they literally gave toasted the buns on my daughters grilled cheese and then slapped some cold cheese on it. Even at 5 years old….she says “mom….isn’t the cheese supposed to be melted?” You would think. So I take it back up there, only to have a disgusted look from the cashier…and I say thanks. Have a good night. Of course upon sitting down I realize I never got our ice cream..I walk up and find the cashier in the back complaining that I asked for my grilled cheese sandwich cooked! Come on girl….you’re not gonna last long in customer service with that attitude!
Anyway, I guess I’ll find a new place to enjoy my burgers. Two strikes and you’re out, BGR.

The few times that we’ve chosen to eat here there hasn’t been a line (hence the decision). For some reason, maybe because the employees are not busy and think it’s okay to mess around, it still takes 20 minutes on average to get our food. Be it 1 burger or 2 it always takes so long.
Today my fiancé ordered a medium burger and got a very well done burger. There’s no need for that.

I thought the burger was cooked to perfection, medium rare, m-t-o.And the chicken tenders were actual adult delicious..was not expecting that. The menu however was kind of all over the place in my opinion. It was hard to find what I was looking for while the cashier stares at you lol. Will def be back…the fries were delicious.

Burgers are good, but a bit overpriced. Even with a coupon for a free burger, a bill for 3 of us (2 adults & 1 child) was $32. That was just a kids meal, 2 burgers, fries and soft drinks. They advertise to be the best burgers, but I’ve had better.

I love BGR but typically go to the West Springfield location. I took my 3 young kids tonight to the one in the Springfield Mall and had a horrible experience. When I buzzer went off indicating our food was ready, I dragged my 3 kids and all of our stuff up to the counter To pick up. The hot items were ready but we then had to wait another 5-10 minutes for the ice cream and then the guy told me he needed another 5 minutes for the milkshake. I took the kids to sit down. I cut into my burger and it’s raw inside (ordered medium). I take it back and request a new one – milkshake still not done. I go back to the table and return five minutes later to retrieve my milkshake. The guy made me the wrong flavor and added whip when I asked for none. When I told him that I didn’t order that, he stood there and argued with me insisting my kid ordered what he made. Even if that was the case, first rule in customer service is customer is always right. At this point I’m beyond frustrated not just because they served me raw meat and the wrong milkshake but the guy is arguing with me about it like I’m the difficult one. Someone else comes out which I assume is the manager and asks if I need help and I ask for refund for the milkshake. He then tells me that they haven’t even started recooking my burger (it’s been 5-10 minutes since i returned it). Ultimately he ended up refunding my burger and shake but a simple, sorry you didn’t have a good experience would have gone a long way versus acting like they were dealing with a difficult customer.

I had never been to this chain, but I was excited to try it out! I ordered a medium-rare mushroom burger and when the order came out, it looked amazing. First bite changed my mind though as the burger was quite literally completely raw meat. I order medium-rare for all meat dishes and this was definatly just raw ground beef.
I went back up and was told that what I had ordered was “borederline” medium-rare and that I probably meant well done. Well I asked for a second one to be made, which the staff was kind to make (funny enough they cooked it to a perfect medium rare second try) but I will never eat there again.
I contacted management the day this happened, and I’m writing the review almost a week and a half later still with no word back from management. I’m pretty dissatisfied with how they handled something that is such a health risk.

Unfortunately not the best BGR experience. Long wait for the food, burgers were beyond well done when we ordered medium and they had no drinks of any kind. Some mechanical problem. Otherwise we at least got what we ordered.
