One year later, the Wahlburger stuff is gone from that failed experiment. Hy-Vee had a much better Market Grill with some of the best wings in town. Now we have a new breakfast menu. It’s mostly the exact same but they got rid of the home fried potatoes and went back to a hash brown. I would be glad to show you how to cook them. When the hash browns come out grey and soggy with oil, you aren’t doing it right. The menu items all went up $3-4 for the same dish. I think our group is going to look elsewhere for breakfast. As a public service group we got a discount that we really appreciated. With your new iteration we pay full price, easy enough to find somewhere that appreciates our volunteer service.
Now for the meat of this, you are charging is for a meal at the same price as full service. There isn’t a manager ever to be seen. You wonder why people don’t support you? The service doesn’t exist, with the price higher than IHOP it doesn’t make sense to continue. $14 for 2 eggs, hash browns and pancakes with a coffee I can get at McDonald’s for $7. Saturday my sausage links were barely warm in the middle, and it wasn’t just mine. You need management that actually participates in the dining room. I appreciate the hard work from the cooks, and they usually turn out a good meal. But the new menu is a joke and so is the bump in price. I can go over to 4 Points and get a breakfast buffet with drink for $8, that includes sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and fruit. Not too mention a couple kinds of juice. Not a good value Hy-Vee. Either fix it or close it, just like you are doing to the bar next month. Not that I want a drink with breakfast but it was the only half way quiet place to watch a game and not be surrounded by yelling fans. I would be glad to give you some pointers, because you are on the way down as it is, the last manager who cared I think his name was Rob? Haven’t seen a manager in the dining since he’s been gone.

Wonderful brunch experience at Hy-Vee Manhattan, KS. Crystal was friendly, helpful, and so great with all of our kids. Stefen made us a delicious apple pie old fashioned with his delightful homemade syrup.

Kind of a hidden gem. I never really thought about eating restaurant quality food at my local grocery store. I am glad I tried it! The selections are great. My only knock would be the Chinese food, which is very bland.

Truly a hidden gem. Way fresher with food made as fresh as their produce, cheaper and faster than other similar restaurants. The full bar is nice, you can have a drink before you shop!

The hot food is not fresh some look like they been in steam table until all the moisture is gone and they look burned up. Even a stir fry looks old I know they don’t stir the product to keep it looking fresh I just wonder how much poison you could get
