It all started with the very welcoming greeting after I entered this cozy establishment followed with a short but nice conversation while my pizza was being brought out. I had ordered a cheese and sausage (oh also a pepperoni and a cheese) , I was encouraged to open the box and take a look at my order and I must say that the first thing that I noticed was the size of the sausage protruding from the pizza and the the spices that helped flavor the pizza then the……..I just made myself hungry and I’m just going to have to ordered another one. Long story short, the pizza is delicious even it was just a cheese pizza. I’m glad I stopped in and I am returning for more.

My son and I have been searching for a new pizza place and I think we have found it! The service, food and follow up were AMAZING! We ordered a pizza Friday night (I forgot to take a pic) and went back the next day for sandwiches! Yummy!

I’ve been waiting to get here to try this pizza for a while now and boy am I glad I did! Cracker thin crust tasty sauce fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection! The quintessential tavern style pizza from chicago! I live in the Beverly neighborhood so they don’t deliver here but it is without a doubt worth the 10-minute drive to pick it up! I can’t wait to get my grandson here to try this he’s going to love it! Also fantastic customer service maybe the next time I will dine in can’t wait to get back here thank you for a great experience

Enjoyed the pizza. Wish it had more sausage on it for the price point. Sauce was good…makes me want to try a grinder with that marinara. Very friendly staff. They offer slices. Great place to eat while you do laundry! Would consider getting a larger thin crust on pizza night.

We found this gem about ten years ago, and from the start it’s been awesome. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. The food is prepared in a traditional way, not like any of the chain restaurants. My husband grew up in an Italian neighborhood and he said this is the best Italian food he’s had since he was a kid. Very cozy setting, never rushed. Sit back and enjoy the great service and savor the whole dining experience.

Extremely good pizza! I had BBQ Chicken on hand tossed crust. Was very good, crust was crispy, BBQ sauce sweet but not overly sweet and generous portion of chicken. Restaurant was clean , cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed this. We went here after a long day of driving, and it really lifted my spirits. The food was wonderful. I highly recommend the Shrimp New Orleans. The people were very friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. If you want good traditional Italian food, come here.

If i could give more stars, i would !!! Thanks for coming to Blue Island! They replaced a shuttered staple in Blue Island and brought life to the building. Their pizza is among the best in the area, I’ve been eating beggars my whole life and it is a tough choice between the 2. Their pizzas are thin crust, their toppings are plentiful and seasoning will very well satisfy your tastebuds, and is always fresh. The owner and employees are also a pleasure to work with, very friendly and courteous and respectful. Pricing is in-line with the competition, if not cheaper. I wish to eat their pizza for many years to come! Keep up the good work guys and thanks for being in our community!!!
