The place is a gem and lifesaver because there is no other competition and it’s tight by the college age station with plenty of street parking and a lot. college kids and families visiting will always come here.
That said, the back hallway that connects is a bit dingy. The rear room is private but feels like an annexed space. Bathrooms aren’t always that clean, the high top table we were sat at was wobbly. It’s in the details… please work on making this place squeaky clean and check your tables.
We went 3x this week and Carly and Caroline were our servers and both were amazing. The fall vibe here is real. Their eggs and potatoes, biscuits and gravy (possibly the best in the Chicago area!!!) and servings are great. Pancakes fluffy. Coffee okay. Crepes were great. Slightly overpriced menu.

I met Bobby and let him know that if this place had cloth napkins, it would be definitely a 6 STAR Restaurant. Awesome vibes, Excellent Food, Upscale, yet classy, with a cozy home vibe. I loved it, it was an entire experience, it’s like eating in Mrs, Clause’s Kitchen. Amazing Place to eat!

From the moment we walked in the door we were Amazed! Wonderful service and the Food was Fantastic!!! We ordered a denver omelet and the Hen House Breakfast = PERFECT!!
The cozy happy atmosphere was appreciated! The fireplace was a Plus!! Fun Seasonal Coffee to go was the icing on the cake~ Thank You!!!

Food was great. The parking might be a bit awkward since you’ll most likely have to use the municipal lot behind the buildings. Cozy atmosphere but a tight squeeze in some places. Went during the winter season so outdoor seating closed at this time.

We had been going here weekly and brought food for our picky 5-year-old a couple times without issue. Today we were told outside food isn’t allowed and were asked to leave. I understand policies, but the inconsistency was frustrating.
That said, the food and service here are excellent, which is why we kept coming back. I just wish the policy had been communicated earlier or handled a bit differently given our previous visits. Hopefully this helps other families know the rule ahead of time.

We had a wonderful breakfast here early on a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu is huge.
The food was excellent. Both the taste and the presentation were elevated. I love that the dressing is made in house. We are excited to come back during warmer weather to sit on the adorable patio.

This place was so so good!! We loved the atmosphere and the waitress was awesome! They have a very cute outdoor patio on the side but we chose to eat indoors since it was kind of chilly this morning. My fiancé had the breakfast sliders which she truly loved. Cheesy scrambled eggs with a delicious sausage pattie on a fresh bun with a side of breakfast potatoes, what more could you possibly ask for!? It was cooked to perfection too! I had the Churro Hawaiian French Toast and it was some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back to try this place and again!
