Talk about a wonderful small town diner!

We were in town for Drum Corps International and needed to grab breakfast. This is the kind of place that all heads turn when you walk in the door.

Instantly the waitress knew we weren’t from the area. She said “first time? Coffee’s on the house”. The coffee was delicious by the way.

I ordered a breakfast without meat and a side of oatmeal. Everything was delicious. My husband ordered steak and eggs breakfast. Equally wonderful!

You can see all the food being prepared. Everything is freshly cooked.

The lady who does the baking in the back knows EVERYONE and is so personable. She makes everyone feel welcome. We wish we had room for cake or pie because it looked fantastic.

I only took 1 star away, as their newer photos on Google show that they have fruit as a side and they do not. They only have fruit cocktail cups. Not a huge deal, but I was looking forward to some fresh fruit as the photos show.

We will be back next year!

Just visited this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a pretty good experience! The staff was super friendly, and our waitress was very attentive, maybe a little too attentive at times, but still appreciated the effort.

I ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage and a side of homefries. The sandwich was solid: great flavor, nicely toasted bagel, and the sausage was well-seasoned. The eggs were cooked perfectly, not runny at all. The homefries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just the way I like them.

All in all, I’d definitely come back to explore more of the menu. It has a cozy vibe, and the service makes you feel genuinely welcome.

This Hamburg diner is small-town charm at its finest. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was exactly what you hope for in a classic local diner, and the staff was excellent and attentive. Even the chef came out and performed a magic trick for us, which was such a fun touch! Prices were moderate, and the free pie was a delightful surprise. We will definitely be back!

After being disappointed by a popular chain restaurant’s “Sunday chicken” dinner twice in a row, we searched for a new place to dine and meet friends in the middle of the county. After a bit of searching online, we found the Hamburg Diner might just work.

Parking is easy, right in front of the diner, located in a cute neighborhood. There could also be a lot, not sure as we didn’t have to search.

Once inside, we were immediately greeted and told to find a table. As we went after the lunch rush, plenty of tables were available.
Shortly after being seated, our cheerful and friendly server Kaitlyn came to bring us menus and take our drink orders.
A few minutes later, Kaitlyn returned with our drinks and took our food orders.
Two of us ordered the patty melt w fries, (an upcharge), and the other ordered pancakes and sausage patties.
The patty melts were delicious! The rye bread was nicely crusty but not so hard as to rip the skin off the roof of your mouth. The patty was juicy and thick, topped with perfectly fried onions.
The french fries were standard.
A friend who dined with us really enjoyed her pancakes, said they were delicious and fluffy.
After digging into our food,
Kaitlyn returned to ask how everything was, bonus points!
Too often we dine at Mom and Pop places, or chain restaurants and either no one returns to ask how our meal is, or they return too soon before you can tell if something is off.
After finishing what we could of our meals, (The two of us who had the patty melts each brought half home), Kaitlyn told us that, since we were first time diners at the Hamburg Diner, we each would receive a free dessert! Wow! Sweet! I brought home the chocolate cake with PB icing, and my two friends opted for the lemon cake. My cake was off the hook! Delicious!
I have a habit of checking out restrooms at diners, (You can tell a lot about a restaurant in there), and was happily satisfied that it was very clean, as the rest of establishment.
The atmosphere was adorable, very retro with red swivel stools at the counter, and old fashioned, (But very comfortable and roomy), booths along the side wall.
Between the service, (Excellent), and the food, (Very good), it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!!

1st visit to this little cozy spot! Food was outstanding . The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress Mackenzie was on point and sweet. Checking out, I said that it was our first time and the owner gave us each a free dessert to go! Prices were surprisingly inexpensive. Clean and comfy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!!! Wish I’d have taken pics

Went here for dinner with my family, so glad to see it open and serving once again.
The food was all good and so were the portions. Everyone liked what they had. I had the hot roast beef and fries.
I am looking forward to going to try out breakfast.
So, went today for lunch. I got a turkey club, my wife got the liver. She said it was very good and she would get it again, I’ll take her work for that. The coleslaw was made from red cabbage, and was really good. Again service was very good.
