Visited Simply Ramen & Gyoza with my family and had a fantastic experience. We tried both chicken and pork gyoza along with a couple of sushi rolls, and everything was amazing.
The pork gyoza stood out and were definitely better than the chicken ones — super flavorful and perfectly cooked. The sushi was fresh and well made as well.
The service was great, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the overall experience even better.
Overall, an excellent place for ramen, gyoza, and sushi in Austin. Highly recommended and definitely a place we’d love to visit again. ✨

This was my fourth trip to Simply Ramen and as usual, it was fantastic. I always get the Classic Ramen and an order of gyoza. The pork broth on the ramen is so silky and porky. It soothes the soul. The ingredients are so fresh and such a great contrast to the broth, especially the gooey egg! I took a friend with me this time, it was her first visit. She got the Black Ramen and loved it! The serving sizes are large enough for us it’s definitely two meals. Our server was fast, friendly and helpful. We are both from Iowa in Austin housesitting for a relative and I try to come here as often as I can. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Texas.

Sushi was flavorless and chewy. Should definitely stick to the “Simply Ramen and Gyoza” concept.
Overall. Ramen gets a 3.5 only because my egg was still cold. The cut of pork was actually pretty thick and had good flavor. Broth was flavorful. Portions are pretty large, bang for buck!

Stumbled across another sushi spot, and it delivered a solid, well-rounded menu. The standout for me was the tempura ice cream—simple, not overdone, and exactly what I hoped for. Beyond that, though, it felt pretty standard. Good, but nothing that makes it stand out from the crowd of sushi joints.

Simply amazing! This restaurant, in my opinion, serves the best ramen in Austin! It’s better than the top rated ramen places in Central Austin. The restaurant is very clean, and the ambience was terrific. I had the simply Red ramen while my wife had the simply ramen, my son had the miso ramen and my other son had the black truffle ramen. The broth was rich and well seasoned. The meat also had a nice flavor to it and was tender. The ajitama egg was also well seasoned. Overall, the combination works very well. We also had the karage chicken. It is served on a bed of salad and also was very tasty. I will be eating here again and again as I have found my favorite spot for ramen.

Been meaning to try this place for a while. After a late afternoon of shopping I did. It was really a cool place. The ambiance was beautiful. Our server and the people were super nice. The cool thing is the brought our food out on a little robot serving machine. The food was amazing presentation was outstanding. The only thing it could have been a little hotter. I like a ramen steaming out. This was lukewarm. But very delicious. I am looking forward to returning and trying the sushi. I’ll definitely be back. Love this place ❤️

Ramen choices were varied & suitable for one’s taste (& spiciness). Service was prompt and courteous. There were also other food choices like sushi & rice dishes. Gyoza was really tender & tasty … not fried so it was very juicy. Also a great selection of appetizers.

We absolutely LOVED this place. First, the atmosphere is very comfortable, open, great to relax and they have a ROBOT!! Which is so cool and I’ve never seen before! The gyoza was perfectly flavorful and crispy. The bao buns were awesome as well- full of flavor and delish. The bun was so fluffy, exactly what you want with those. The ramen was my personal favorite. My fiancé got Simply Red and really enjoyed. Good level of spice but noticeable for sure. I went with the Simply Black and it was the best Ramen I’ve had in the greater Austin area. The broth is incredible, very decadent, flavorful, you can tell it is created with a lot of time. Each ingredient is so well prepared to make an incredible bowl of REAL ramen. Just so so good! Highly recommend a visit and any items we tried!
