Really enjoyed their pho Bo tai and cafe sua da. The beef was so tender! They also gave me chilli and thai basil when I asked. That made the broth herby and spicy.

Quite disappointed at the dinner that we had. I ordered the pho with beef filet. The quantity was little, without fresh veggies aside to add to the soup, the bouillon was sort of watered down. I love pho but this one was definitely not up to the standard. My friend ordered a dish with rice with coconut cream and crispy duck. It’s so much liquid that it’s more like soup which tasted very sweet. The duck had a thick layer of flour. The actual meat was of small quantity.
Another comment: I asked the waitress for some water for my dog. To my surprise she refused to give water because she said they don’t have a bowl for dogs. But they have plastic and paper takeaway boxes. I think they are just too stingy to use them for my dog. Actually I wouldn’t mind paying for one box! They were not really customer friendly, and it’s all about making quick money.

The food though, let’s say it was a questionable deal in relation to the price. I ordered rice with duck on curry coconut sauce. Half of the duck portion was pure fat, it wasn’t that crunchy line of fat around the meat, no! It was just fat. And the curry sauce was way too watery.

The restaurant was located close to our hotel (Reichshof) and due to the good reviews we wanted to visit Pho & Rice. Their website said that there were no available seats, but we went anyway. Luckily there was a table for us, and we got a warm welcome from the owner (we believe).
The place is relatively small, but the atmosphere was good. Service was really good and friendly all the way.
Food was really nice and tasty, and at a very reasonable price. We will return next time we are in Hamburg.

I went with a few other people and it was such a nice experience. The server was very friendly and helpful even though we didn’t speak German. The price is also quite reasonable as the portions are quite generous. (The picture I attached was had to finish and I had an empty stomach with a fair big appetite)

Incredible food!! The only food I’ve ever tasted out of Asia that actually taste like Asia. The vibe at the restaurant is just awesome! The staff was also sooo nice!! After all just an amazing experience!!

Cash only! The restaurant is a short distance from Hotel Atlantic Hamburg. A bit pricey because the food portion is very small. However I did notice that the portions are bigger when order lunch specials. The mango salad and ginger lemongrass tea were pretty good. Unfortunately pho needs a lot more improvement.
