you know the food is gon be good when they cut a whole out so everything fits! no but i got the fried catfish it was yummy as well as the sides, seasoned fries and potato salad. really friendly service as well

Parking was a bit hectic but my food was worth it. If your not familiar with the area it is in the shopping center next door to Nipsey Hustles store( hence the parking situation) I had fried red snapper that was seasoned well and not dry. Fried shrimp fries and Mac salad and a sweet roll.

Good shrimp burrito combo with fresh hot fries and an ice cold drink. Can’t go wrong. Truly appreciate the vent on top of the to go box to keep those fries crispy and not soggy. Will come back and visit to try other menu options.

My fish was cooked real soft, with no crunch at all. I’m not sure of the batter, but I didn’t like it. The asparagus was over cooked, and the French fries tasted stale. I did enjoy the sauces and fast service.

Nice little place! One friendly guy working. Fast service! I had the fried catfish with fries and corn. The fish was very flavorful but could have been fried a tad bit longer! The fries and corn were yummy. I don’t usually go to super small places like this because there’s always risk of poor sanitation but it was clean and smelled good. I would go back.

Catfish nuggets…..delicious. Fried snapper was good. This place is an order to go spot. Not a sit down and eat in restaurant. Will I go back next time I’m visiting LA? Absolutely. The only downside was they were out of potato salad. I would have liked to try that. My husband asked for macaroni salad and they gave him French fries….that wasn’t a deal breaker though.

The food was great. Fish was on point crispy and flavorful. I ordered the rice,when I got the food, it looked different. Then I realized how they prepared the rice. It was good and I loved it. I’m writing to comment now because I just looked to see if they were open, but unfortunately, it’s after hours. Haven’t been in a few months. I was craving the fish and rice. Reading the comments, I feel like everyones taste buds are a little different and are used to the same old thing. Every business will not be the same as every other place. I like how they set themselves apart, preparing things. I was told to check them out and wasn’t disappointed at all. The 2 people working the day I went was on point as well. Wrong order and cool/cashier was not having a great day. I tried smiling and being cordial. He had nothing for me. Fish was ok didn’t get the shrimp in the combo I ordered and I wasn’t going back to ask him about it either. I support local business with business not reviews so we are clear.
